Yup. Myself, after leaving the Church and looking at the Bible closer the who "beam me up Goddy" almost seems blasphemous. That's not in the Bible. There is a day when the dead shall be resurrected and judged. Christians of older times even sometimes prepared for this by being buried with loved ones so they'd see each other first when they are all alive again.I understand what is meant by the colloquialism, but I don't agree that it is supported by scripture as it is intended. God created heaven for spirit beings and earth for earthling man. The meek shall inherit, what? Not heaven. It seems to me that the expression isn't in line with Jehovah God's will, and it doesn't make sense to me.

At most the Saints get to go to Heaven, but not us. We get Earth at most.
You don’t see anything deeper?I understand what is meant by the colloquialism, but I don't agree that it is supported by scripture as it is intended. Resurrected? What do you think this means?Yup. Myself, after leaving the Church and looking at the Bible closer the who "beam me up Goddy" almost seems blasphemous. That's not in the Bible. Deeper? I'm afraid not, other than explained to @Shadow Wolf. Perhaps you could give me your own understanding and I will see that. Arguably I see there being a possible interpretation that the kingdom of heaven, God's kingdom, will, eventually include both heaven and earth. So, the word heaven means high. Raise your hand above your head and you are reaching into the physical heavens. Above that, the spiritual heavens. You don’t see anything deeper?

I'm sorry, I've read it and it doesn't help at all. I have no idea what it means. Perhaps you could elaborate. Keeping in mind, I'm just giving you my understanding, I'm not negating anyone else's.Read my profile post.
When you hear a Christian say I will see my loved ones in again in heaven, what do you think they mean? I think it’s quite obvious don’t you?
The universe is full of many many wondersI think they believe what they say but they have no idea how the universe works
Do you believe that any of us really know how the universe works? Because I sure don't.I think they believe what they say but they have no idea how the universe works
I know. It’s quite simple actually. It’s just infinite space filled with stars and planets etc. and it will end when God in the flesh dies.Do you believe that any of us really know how the universe works? Because I sure don't.

A man turns the lights on and offPretty much, yes. I know several people who know much about the universe and I've learned from them and learn more all the time.
For example I've just finished reading this...
We Finally Know What Turned on The Lights at The Dawn of Time
