Welcome to ChristianBrother's Quickie Sermons.

The following sermons are designed to help people through a wide variety of problems ranging from alcohol and drug abuse, to having a weak faith etc.

I would like to become a Chaplain with the Royal Navy, and so this would be very good practice.

Come and read my interpretations of the New Testament, and you may just be able to gain a bit of insight and help.

If you would like to request a specific sermon, then you are more than welcome to PM me and I'll see what I can do.

Love and regards,

1 Thessalonians Chapter 5 Verse(s) 6-8

"So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be alert and self-controlled. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night. But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet."

Allow these words, which are written in the New Testament, to bear hope, love and salvation upon your soul and life.

If you are an alcoholic, and are looking for help and guidance, then have no doubt in these words. For if you indulge in the intoxication of alcohol, then you drink in the darkness. But if you step from the darkness, and into the light, then the Lord your God will forgive you.

Have faith in the Bible, and trust that it is the Word og God. For you shall be able to take refuge in His Word and turn from the darkness. You shall be able to don faith and love as a breastplate, and you shall be able to don the hope of salvation as a helmet. If only you trust and believe in God.

Trust that, if you turn from alcohol, and worship God, then you will no longer feel the need to intoxicate yourself any further.

God Bless,

Luke Chapter 15 Verse(s) 8-10

The Parable of the Lost Coin

"Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Does she not light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbours together and says, 'Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.' In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents."

Have faith in these words, for they state that, if you turn from your sinful ways, and repent in front of God, then you will be saved. He will accept you into the kingdom of Heaven, and will rejoice with you in the finding of salvation.

Salvation is open to anyone who accepts God, and who repents his/her sins in front of Him. For on the judgement day, it will be your rights and your wrongs that will be judged, and if your wrongs outdo your rights, then you will be sent to hell.

Sin is natural, it is born in all humans. But it is our conciousness that may change the sin within us, for we have the decision on whether or not to repent our sins and confide in God.

Christ died to save us from sin, for He is the one that opened the kingdom of Heaven to ordinary people. It would be an insult to His name if we did not turn to Him for guidance, and had solace in His name.

May God guide you in the correct path in Life.

No problem. We are all brothers and sisters in this world, and we should try and pass the Word on to as many people as possible.

How are you doing, I hope that you're feeling better than you were before.

With love and blessings.
