Sorry, but the name Lucifer didn't exist in the OT or NT until the bible was translated into Latin in the 4th century by St Jerome. It was later reused in some English translations, like KJV.

The name "Lucifer" never appeared in Isaiah 14:12 Hebrew or the Greek Septuagint.

I don't know where you're getting the "that's why he lied part" - as I said before very little is known about her. What we do know is she was accused by someone in her town of being a witch (reportedly for making herbal remedies for her neighbors, this is where the religious ignorance comes in play).

Like many of the circumstances that would later show up in the Salem Witch Trials, she did not have a son or husband and owned property, meaning with her death her property would go to the town, making her an easy target for a witchcraft accusation (false accusations/ulterior motives).

And so, what does this have to do with the Knights Templar? After the failure of the Crusades, King Philip was in severe debt with the order. What better way to get rid of this debt then by accusing them of heresy (false accusations/ulterior motives). The fact that the orders initiation rights were secretive easily allowed for a distortion of the truth. What secretive rights could have possibly been happening? (religious ignorance).

The men were tortured to confess all the "evils" involved in the order such as "spit on the cross, deny Christ, and engage in indecent kissing; brethren were also accused of worshiping idols, and the order was said to have encouraged homosexual practices." All this information was obtained through torture and all of the accused recanted their confessions when they were free from the inquisitors torture. A document was later found in 2001, showing that Pope Clement absolved the order of all heresies.
