It depends. Some Catholics think only Catholics are saved: Some Protestants think only their denomination is the right one. Most of the Christians I know--whatever their denomination-- believe that all people who accept Jesus as Christians.

I don't really trust any denomination that says that they are the only ones saved. There are a few denominations that say that they are the only ones saved and no one else is. Most denominations, however, just think it is important to accept Jesus.

Catholics consider Protestants to be right about what they are right about, and wrong about what they are wrong about ;)

The Catholic Church teaches that there is salvation outside of the Church.

Protestants are divided, some think that Catholics are not Christian, some think they are...

What if I only accept Zeus as my lord and savior?

Then your taking Zeus and the Greek religion the wrong way and trying to make it like Christianity. Lord and Savior thing is a Christian way of thinking and should not be applied to Pagan beliefs.

The Council of Trent anathematized (cursed) protestants and others who don't believe certain Roman Catholic doctrines, including transubstantiation. The anathemas entail that protestants are literally unable to be saved. Of course, protestants have returned the favor with anathemas of their own. So certainly in the heat of battle, both sides have consigned the other to hell everlasting. Amen.

However, the individual believers are often way ahead of the clergy who lead them. As a result, you'd be hard-pressed to find a Roman Catholic who honestly believe that all Protestants are doomed and vice versa.

Have you ever heard of Vatican II?

Any Catholic who thinks that we are the only ones going to Heaven and no Protestants are, they are NOT Catholics. We actually accept Protestant baptizms if there are any who want to convert.

My brother attended a Catholic baptism in a Baptist church because the people wanted to be immersed and the Catholic Church didn't have the facilities.

I have never heard anyone say that Zeus saved them from anything. My guess is that he is long dead although I wouldn't rule out a visit as a mortal. I doubt that would get you anywhere even if you knew who it was.

Really? I have never heard of that. One question. Did the Catholic Church bring their own Holy Water? Or did the Priest just bless the water at the Baptist Church?

Who said anything about someone needing saving?
