Clinton: Half of Trump supporters are in 'basket of deplorables'

I love the politically correct outrage coming from the right. Remember when they use to say they admire people who are politically incorrect.

Clinton's comment could be described as politically incorrect, but there certainly is a great deal of truth to it. It seems that we can make broad derogatory statements about Muslims, we can make broad derogatory statements about Mexicans. But we certainly cannot make such general comments about a percentage of Trump supporters, that would not be politically correct.

It's completely wrong to use the broad brush.

The context doesn't make it better. I had high hopes after the DNC. Hillary would follow Michelle Obama's words and take the High Road. You didn't need to knock down Trump he would do it himself see the RNC. Of course right after the DNC the negative ads came out and she went about collecting money. Rather than talk herself and America up she continues to talk Trump down and now talk down voting Americans.
Cry me a river. Politics has never been about "taking the high road".

Well she seems to have a major problem winning over independents like me. Her numbers after the DNC have just continually dropped. After this statement which annoys me a few more million independent voter's maybe Trump will get the lead.

Sure you did.

Trump is a mirror. We can hide from that fact or confront it ...

... or, we can take our lead from the "they're both idiots" camp and deny it. You've made your choice clear.

I have no idea what your saying. I will tell you that I was all for supporting Hillary after the DNC. The RNC terrified me. The DNC with the RAH, RAH, America is great, the regular Americans on the stage, the humanizing of Hilary. I wanted more. But I got the true version @Nietzsche said Politics has never been about taking the high road and Hillary has managed to go low.

The media is fooling everybody, so we can't say that only Trump's supporters are fooled by the media.
They're not fooling me. Not all media is the same and uses the same techniques. That's the difference.
She is referring to millions of American citizens as Deplorable.

de·plor·a·ble
[dəˈplôrəb(ə)l]
disgraceful · shameful · dishonorable · unworthy ·

Number of registered voters 146,311,00 from a recent poll 44% supporting Trump which equals 64,376,840 Americans supporting Trump, 32,188,420 Americans Hilary Clinton calls Deplorable. Trump insulted 11,000,000 non-US citizens.

Both of them are idiots.
Probably, but she doesn't need their support either. Heck, the republican party doesn't want them anymore.

Is it really out of line considering that, statistically, Trump would have a far greater proportion of supporters who are racist, sexist, homophobic, etc. than any other candidate?

Why not saying they're as frank as he's?
Can we say that Hillary's supporters are as liars as she's?

Is the Hillary correct with this estimation? That's not very politically correct. I think the # is higher.

So when do the candidates start calling each other supporters "Stinky doo doo heads"... both of these candidates, and their campaigns, are the most childish displays of egocentric name calling and sensationalism I have ever seen or heard...and I work around, and deal with, politicians all the time...neither deserves to be president in my opinion

Democrats don't do that though. It's usually conservatives/republicans that resort to childish name calling. I can go listen to Rush, Hannity or Fox right now and hear them mention things about those evil 'liberals.'

Sorry, but the both do it, the only proof you need is what Hillary said that started this post...and the Donald is equally as childish, he just tends to be more crude about it

Trump says stuff every week, Hillary said 1 thing in over a year. There is a difference you know?

nope, both have lied, made snide comments about each other and thrown insults throughout the campaign the only difference is Trump tends to be more direct in his rudeness. Hillary has said plenty, not just one thing. I am neither democrat or Republican so I do not give either side a pass in this area
