Completed a half marathon today.

This is my first half of the year and fourth half marathon ever. I didn't do a spectacularly great time, it was rainy and hilly this trail, but I completed it and don't feel like death warmed over.
I've lost 86lbs over the last couple years and would never have been able to do this in my old life, so I feel very contented. Going to take a nap then head to the hot tub. Later RF.

Nice, I enjoyed running but am unable to do so for extended periods anymore. Ankles are shot.

Congrats! I did a couple of half's years ago. I found them really grueling but also very satisfying. In both runs, my knees held up well, but my hips were really sore.

Any body parts in particular in pain at this point?

Caaaaaaaalves. Hills suck.
Also despite my best efforts I still managed to get a few blisters on my feet. But it rained hard enough to soak me through at mile 3 so I was kinda doomed.

Outstanding effort @ADigitalArtist

Dare I ask your age so I can feel totally ashamed?
33. Not sure if that would make you feel better or worse. Haha.

Well, I do walk up to my mailbox which is a blistering 1/2 mile up the road. At a brisk pace I'm back in about 10 minutes. :) But, hey, I'm 61, so I'm allowed.

Wow! That is fantastic.

I'm on the other end of things. Exercise came to a stop with my accident. I can't do any of it, until "additions" like inserted mesh, and such, mend. The result is that I have gained some weight. But at least I have a good excuse after eating all the pizza. LOL! :D
