Today was the first time in 15 years for me to go to confession i have been away from the church for a while
My husband who is an atheist didn't really understand why i wanted to go to confession
we went to the church for the Saturday vigil only think my husband liked about it was that there was a stall selling hot dogs ... my husband is also my carer
as i have mental health problems and i cant go out on my own because of mental health problems

I felt emotional after but am glad i did it

I just wanted to acknowledge your post, and also to tell you that I am glad that you have something that can help bring you peace of mind. I do relate to mental health issues, in fact, if people are honest, I think there are many of us out here that can relate. I am also glad you have someone to care for you. It is hard being alone, for me anyway.

Just recently I talked to some folks about mental health, and it seems so easy for most to admit to other types of health issues, but when it comes to mental health, there is such a fear about it, imo. Best wishes to you and your husband:)
