Contemplative Neuroscience

Secret Chief

Very strong language
I've just accidentally come across this (the rabbit hole commenced with me looking up stuff on the band Tangerine Dream!) and I thought it might make for an interesting thread. A place where science and woo might get on speaking terms. Anyhoo I currently have no comments, wild assertions or thoughts on the matter so maybe the thread will disappear without trace....

Not obvious is it! I was a fan in the 70s (Phaedra, Rubycon) when Peter Baumann was a member. He's now a fellow of the Mind & Life Institute, which was set up in 1991 in order to establish the field of contemplative science / neuroscience.

Dangerous thing, Wikipedia.
