Cookies or Your Soul

2 heads of broccoli, chopped finely, one pepper chopped finely. Stir in grated cheese, 1/4 cup. Add besan flour, 1/2 cup, and then add water and stir until 'batter is as thick as pancake batter. Spoon cookie sizes onto baking tray. Bake until cooked, and crispy. Viola ...
I meant black pepper.
But hey. That sounds really good!

Get my soul back, or have a cookie?
Of course it matters. Are the the One TRUE cookies or the demonic cookies that lead to sloth and gluttony?
I think you are confused. Cookies that come in a box or bag or wrapper are demonic and will never be anything good enough to live up to the reputation of cookies.
Now, when it was made by a human being sans industrial equipment, using fine ingredients and using a recipe that has some flavor to it, those are good, true cookies that induce sloth, gluttony, and vanishing milk.

I'm unwilling to joke about trading my soul for cookies, but I would like some cookies. I guess I am still worried there could be a soul jangling around inside, somewhere; and maybe you're lying about the cookies, too.

What about biscuits? ;)
Same. I will occasionally eat a biscuit with oatmeal in it if offered one, e.g. digestives, but in general I avoid them.

Now, recently, as I think I mentioned elsewhere, I have learnt how to make a Victoria sandwich sponge cake. A slice of that, with a cup of tea at 5pm, is very nice - but I don't want to make it a habit, in view of the appalling amounts of butter and sugar that go into it ;).
