Could Nothingness Be Another Dimension In And Of Itself?

It's like saying we're all made of the same energy yet to you that's pseudoscience God-of-the-gaps.

The same kind of energy, and you are misrepresenting the earlier discussion.

But I'll ask you the same question I asked another contributor: Do you think you are the Andromeda galaxy?

I'm arrogant enough to boldly state that if one is still a theist they really haven't gotten very far into the rabbit hole of consciousness.

Clinging to beliefs of this type is certainly not conducive to open-minded exploration and discovery. Religious beliefs are like tinted spectacles, they distort perception. The problem is that people get so used to seeing things through the tint of their religious beliefs that they forget there is a tint, they try to persuade everyone else that their distorted view is really the true one.

No, I am not the Andromeda Galaxy. However, the dark energy that permeates the Andromeda Galaxy would likely be the same dark energy permeating the Spiny Norman Galaxy within.
As you've said, we are all composed of the same elements only with this we are all composed of the same energy.
I'd have to ask the original poster if they meant that they were the Andromeda Galaxy or if they were just referring to the same dark energy.

I think you will find it's the same kind of energy, not the actual same energy. Like it's the same kind of space between stars in the Andromeda galaxy as it is here.

Though of course very little is known about dark energy so this is all speculation anyway.

Again, you haven't followed the previous discussion closely enough, the question was to a different poster. Though frankly I wouldn't bother, it's all very repetitive on this thread.

What is the point you really want to make?

So does that mean this 'dark energy' is conscious like us, only we don't know of it's existence within?

Could be yes. This universe is pretty amazing. I'd be foolish to discredit and claim that there is no chance for this. The more images of dark matter taken in the cosmos looks identical to what our brains look like. I'd have to say dark energy would be no different.

I'd have to backtrack to get the context down pat. I might do that if I am especially bored.

If you're bored, do so :). Also, I did not make it profound. . just stated the obvious.

Trying to read and catch up on as much as I can, very popular and wonderful thread.

Simply that the same dark energy in the cosmos would be the same dark energy within humans.

Bear in mind that dark energy is thought to be a repulsive force, a sort of anti-gravity. It isn't describing anything mystical, it's just another natural force.

Kind of yes, the need for a reason... no.

We can brainstorm and speculate why or why not we think it's within us or why it's not within us.

The distribution of dark matter in the Universe isn't uniform. It's in random patches. So if a human were to, hypothetically, travel somewhere where dark matter isn't present, they possibly wouldn't have any inside them.

Makes sense. Same kind of energy.

My point was that this same kind of energy would permeate the space between our atoms within also. . just more on a very very significant smaller scale.

I'm not sure actually, I think dark energy is seen as working on cosmological scales with large bodies.

I've read some scientific stuff that dark matter is constantly penetrating us here on Earth and is all over here on Earth, we are just having a difficult time currently detecting it while trying.

With uniformity for instance, dark matter being within us... it also wouldn't be uniform, dark matter wouldn't be evenly distributed within us but more densely centralized towards our larger masses within us, i.e.: brain/heart.

Albeit on a very very very smaller scale than we can potentially observe in the cosmos.

Dark energy is envisaged as a repulsive force, like anti-gravity. So it's like asking whether gravity is conscious. It sounds like a silly idea to me - is it one of Chopra's? :p

I like your thinking though. The image of dark matter taken in the cosmos which I'll put with this post.... would it only be observed to areas of the cosmos around large bodies of mass and not the millions of light years of just empty space?

I believe that Chopra speaks about stuff along those lines from what I've heard, I don't read anything about him so I don't know.

I know that in a recent article released by I believe NASA that their dark matter images taken mention that it appears to look identical to the same neuron patterns of the human brain.
