Hello everyone :)

Fly_close.jpg

Let's imagine that all species and plants are die for any reason, only you lucky one to live :)
and you can live forever.

and supposing your first mission is creat a living fly insect (male and female), how much time you will take to creat a two living fly(male and female), and how,why the humans now could not ?

NOTE:
my questions is for atheist or pro-evolution as starter of live.

I have two requests:

1-Please take my question in serious way :)
2- Don't tell me the same story that species will appears from nothing by billions of years, and the fly will be one of them :D

According to evolution, a fly came from something fly-like, where as fly-like came from something not so fly-like and you keep going backwards in time in such a fashion.

Humans came from something human-like(apes), apes came from something not so human-like etc. All mammals are alike one way or more. All reptiles alike. Going furthest back, all life are alike one way or another but mostly that all life uses DNA and only require mutations to get diversity.

I believe the materialist can not build a living fly even if they could create an atom by atom exact replica of a fly. The reason is that I believe 'living' things have components that are not physical atoms; components that are not part of our familiar three-dimensional physical world. Energies and vibrations outside of our detectable three-dimensions and vibrational levels are involved in living things.

according to me that just theory , this is off-topic:p

Why humans could NOT creat a single living fly?

Here's an interesting question (see my post above). Do you think an atom by atom exact copy of an adult fly created by science would act like an adult fly? Why or why not?

Why does this matter?
It shows that life is something mysterious and more than putting atoms in a certain order.

Do you think an atom by atom exact copy of an adult fly created by science would act like an adult fly? Why or why not?

Ok
Why humans could NOT creat a single living fly?
God did not do that either. My answer is because a scientist is not immortal but would be possible with enough time.

Yes because I don't think a soul is dependent on some magical addition to the "material" that makes up everything. Thats why I often question the idealistic view on this subject. Seems to me if consciousness is built into anything and everything then anything built with it could be life or aware to some degree. Like using legos that have fundamental awareness potential built into them.

This is a silly argument. Like responding to someone who believes in a semi-spherical Earth should be able to create a flat Earth before concluding a semi-spherical Earth.
Someone who is a materialist doesn't believe flies were created. So why in the world would they believe they could create flies?

One wonders why you are limiting the magical powers you grant?

Because humans are fail in that ?
If someone could creat a fly,is that would be something considerable ?

Check dictionnary than come to reply in my thread next time :p

cre·ate
verb
  1. bring (something) into existence.
  2. cause (something) to happen as a result of one's actions.
  3. (of an actor) originate (a role) by playing a character for the first time.

Which of the above dictionary definitions did you have in mind.
Or do you perhaps have some other definition?

Not really since we can't make a fly atom by atom. Ergo we can't deduce something from things that can't be done.

@Godobeyer and the op I would go to a lab and clone a fly quickly from DNA that's been stored. I would have fly quickly.
