There are times I certainly wish I had the power to do whatever I wanted, simply so I could make the world a better place. But I think it would easily lead to me becoming evil, as I would probably want to mould people lives entirely.

Wow, I would love to say yes - depending on the interpretation of 'Absolute power'; If you mean as in 'God - like' - No, I can't even begin to conceive that.


If you mean as in a polititian, I have always hoped that If I was granted 'absolute power' - I would not let it corrupt me - until you live in that condition you cannot judge, though.......

I agree. We must remain humble, and that is hard to do in a position of absolute power.

A very interesting question... I don't know. I don't think so, for the reason that Pah so eloquently described. Besides, if I had absolute power, there'd be a new 'Discworld' book out every twenty minutes, and they'd be pretty hard to keep up with, then.

I can handle absolute power. Thier would be no hungery or homeless people. But in my quest to make the world a much better place, thier would be those who are offended by my actions. Since I have absolute power, thats thier problem, not mine.

They two completley seperate things.

Either way however, I beleive that were I given however large an amount of power, I would be considered severe. But every thing I would do would be for the beneficience of society.
