@Rival thought you might like this quote from an Egyptian vizier.

Speak wisely and only when necessary.

Havamal - v27

"For the unwise man 'tis best to be mute
when he come amid the crowd,
for none is aware of his lack of wit
if he wastes not too many words;
for he who lacks wit shall never learn
though his words flow ne'er so fast"

Some wisdom is timeless.

You should do a Tiktok of this so the younger folks take note.
That's a joke. I'm just old enough to pull off 'Old man yells at Clouds', and just young enough to not be an old man yelling at clouds.

Gonna have to get @RayofLight to do the TikTok. I don't even have that. I barely use FB anymore.

With the heat here, I'm yelling at the clouds because I want them to return. Haha. It's.... Sooo.... Hot. It's currently 89° in my house.

That sounds nice!
That's like...umm...29 Celcius.
Meanwhile I'm eating spicy soup to try and stay warm.

That's ok outside. Not inside. I don't have AC currently.

Yeah, it's winter in good ol' Ausland. I visited in July once, it was a nice balmy 16-18C. Which is pretty much our year round average here.

12 and sunny in Melbourne today.

Much like the States, we are a big country, and the temp varies a lot. It's 25 in Cairns right now.

(82 farenheit, roughly)

"The average temperature in Seattle is 10.8 °C | 51.5 °F. Precipitation here is about 1386 mm | 54.6 inch per year."

Melbourne was fun. I enjoyed it. I visited Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane back in '08.

Words are what got us kicked out of the garden.
Well, adjectives anyway.

"good" "bad" "male" "female".

The whole world was gender neutral and non judgmental before some genius decided to start labeling everything.

Idk. I highly doubt it was non-judgemental and gender neutral, we just didn't have the words to describe it ;)

At the moment 87 in Delhi, less indoors, stuffy, cloudy. Not really bad. We may have some rain (revved up the fan). :)

I have heard that God is 'gender neutral' (and Adam, therefore certainly, was not created in his image).

This reminds me of that saying, attributed - apparently wrongly - to Abraham Lincoln, Mark Twain and sundry others: "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt".

For me Forums are enough. I hate the so-called social-media. Inanities, lies. I am better without them.

One could call them a means of communication. I find them useful and informative; I use them for specific topics. My employer uses them for dissemination of information and promotion. And let's face it, RF has its share of inanities and lies, godnose cos I'm on it.
