Crappy weather

It's cold, windy, rainy, and cloudy. Ugh... I sit inside with a blanket around me and slippers on, no motivation to do anything. I'm blaming the weather. I have my heat on 73 degrees F in the house, but I'm still chilly. Plus I can't go outside to walk like I want to, that really makes me feel good.

I'm on my second cup of coffee. It isn't helping.

Screw the cold, let it be nice out already.

I have mixed feelings here.

I don't like the grey drizzles.

I love thunderstorms, however. We've actually gotten a few, and we're just poking into April...

Yes, that tornado warning last, what was it, Saturday? That was blissful. Even the wind I didn't mind. I was at work during most of it, but the yellow skies on the ride home were pretty. And it had a 'calm after the storm' feel to it... before the cold front moved in.

It's cold that does me in. It has to be 50F or above with no wind.

It was Friday(my oldest son had left for his dad's house shortly before it happened).

My husband saw a funnel while he was at his job(didn't drop). The sirens, the flashing lightning, the blue skies poking behind the angry thunderheads, the balmy heavy air leading up to it... There are few things that I find as blissful as this.

But I'm with ya on the cold. That temp drops, the wind blows, and its ughhh...
