Crazy pets

Do you have crazy pets? I have a daschund that barks and growls at everything. She's so intent on attacking things (and hasn't ben taught to) that even when she wants to like someone, she snarls her teeth when they pet her, but all her other body gestures are like she likes it (tail wagging like nobody's business). If they stop petting her, she "nice" bites at them until they do. If they sit down, she wants to bite them in a mean fashion.

She's decided on one fellow that she just flat out hates him. As a result, all I have to do is say "Hank" and she runs towards the door barking and growling or at the least gets real tense and just growls.

She's crazy, but I love on her anyway :D

All my pets are crazy!

I usually wake up in the morning to the sound of our youngest kitten slamming repeatedly into my door. She's really smart and has figured out how to open a door by jumping up and pulling down on the handle, so I have to lock my door, but she just resorts to running into it instead.

The second youngest is always seeing things that aren't there. We always laugh and say that she's schizophrenic, but sometimes I think that she's really seeing things I just can't see. Spirits or ghosts or what not.

My cats are quite crazy, I always like when there will be a bug on the outside of my sliding door, and they will jump and try to grab it. HAHAHA!!!! They'll do that for hours!! :D

Animals are very good judges of people. And they can sense spirits. Animals are much farther evolved in the spiritual sense than we humans are.

Doesn't it make you wonder what's going on with Hank? Dogs an children have a good sense about people.:)

No, not really. I don't think anything ill of this fellow, and I visit with him quite a bit. Sugar just doesn't like anyone for quite a while. Strangely, she liked Hank at the beginning until he sat down one day, and after that, Sugar has loathed him.

I went skidooing with my dog today, and she attacked another dog, twice the size of her... And won. She's agressive to female dogs, but not to males (Don't know why, but she's part wolf). She loves metal and classical music, although classical more (especially violins and flutes). She's crazy... But I love her. :p

I think that there likely is a reason why Sugar doesn't like Hank . Not saying that Hank did anything mean or unkind , but there is likely a reason .

I don't have any pets as such . The coyotes eat my cats , and I really don't have the time for a dog . { besides , a dog would likely bother the coyotes ... } :)

I have a cat that acts like a dog. She prefers dog food, meets cars, etc. :)

Yeah, there's a reason, but I can't divine it. Sugar defaults to not liking people any way. I think the problem was that he sat down. To her, everything is her property...especially the house. I think she took exception to a stranger sitting in her domain, and she's held a grudge :).

Who cares about the IPU when I can have the Visible Brown Daschund? She thinks she owns me and is a very potent force when she wants it :p.

Well, my pets aren't crazy, they are what they are. I have been taking care of a mommy cat and her three children since they came to life in the backyard, a year and a half ago. The mommy is very sweet and when she introduced her babies to me it was the most astounding moment I ever have ever witnessed. First she came by my legs and then she laid down on her side. She started to give out a certain special call that I had never heard before. Then one by one the babies came, slowly and cautiously, hesitating with every step. But mommy laid on her side til they all came near me. I stood still until each one had climbed over my feet. In time I coaxed them to come to me by being very still, and having patience. Even the stray ferrel boys allow me to pet their heads now. I believe with all my heart that it is the feeling of love and acceptance that allows me to interract with them.

One of the sweet things that they do is walk with me and the dog in the morning. They cross back and forth in front of us to the point of distraction sometimes. They also tend to jump up upon my back when I squat down to pet one. One night when coming back from the store, one waited for me and escorted me down the block, then suddenly he jumped up to my shoulder, pushed me and then jumped back down. I mean it was out of the blue. I wasn't acknowledging him or encouraging him in any way. I guess it was just a lark in his mind, as if to say, " Here I am, Ive been waiting for you, lets go home!"

My other pet is a 65 pound dog named Hunter, that I rescued from being abandoned in a park on February 22, five years ago. One of his many faults, IMHO is that he thinks I am his mate. I will leave you to draw your own conclusions.

I also have a rabbit, but she is not much of a problem.

I am so blessed to have such wonderful pets in my life.

Well I have a 21 pound cat named Ozzy, he terroizes anyone who comes in the house. he never bites he just growls lays his ears back and shows his teeth. Needless to say I have no friends who like to vist. I don't know whats wrong with him , maybe the name I picked for him. There are perks though, I tell my grandkids to behave or Ozzy will eat them.:D
