Cremation vs Burial

My 'religion' doesn't care either way. I think I want to be cremated. Have my ashes spread around somewhere...I think that would be cool. I don't want to be buried in the ground! Not that it really makes that big a difference--I'm dead for cryin' out loud! But cremation is cheaper too I think, so it's a win-win situation!

Don't care, and won't care when it's time for me, but cremation is more environmentally safe, especially if the exhaust cleaning takes care of the mercury from your fillings.

2301 ....The Church permits cremation, provided that it does not demonstrate a denial of faith in the resurrection of the body.93

The remains must not be scattered, but remain in a urn (?) or other receptacle, and may be buried.

Peace,

personally I want to be put out on a funerary platform for the birds to eat... after that I guess whatever is left of my bones after a few years can be put under some rocks or something.... I'll be dead so what does it matter? Although being put to some sort of use like protecting some threatened land would be nice... cant build on a burial ground. (although they seem to never pay attention to our burials around here. Grrrr... )
