Crocodile blood may yield new drugs

This certainly is interesting and may hold the potential for HIV and other disease treatment.:) With America's FDA, it could be decades before any thing hits the states. If doctors do figure out a way to cure AIDS with this, I guess there will be some traveling to get the medicine.:D

Surely people facing death from AIDS would be able to volunteer themselves as human guinea pigs ?:)

I'd like to think so, but our FDA has a history of 'dragging its feet' in approving drugs that have been in use in other countries. I can't speak for others, but if the doctors were certain I had ________, and that it was fatal, I would be willing to try just about anything as a treatment. Hopefully, they will.
