Actually when you make certain claims you take on a burden of proof. You are the one claiming that they were removed. That puts the burden of proof upon you. If you could ask a proper question I could explain and support my belief. You should try doing that.
Right now it appears that death is the end. If there was an afterlife it could be interesting. But too many religious ones have a heaven that would eventually become no different from Hell.

From what I have learned, and I don't want to get too detailed right now, hell has certainly been misconstrued by religious zealots misunderstanding the scriptures, and so has the idea of heaven. But that's all I will say now about that. Except -- I don't want to go to heaven -- God has not put it in my heart and mind to be there. I want to be on the earth. And the Bible says the earth will be transformed eventually. But! that's all I will say for now and bid you a good evening.

Well, we're talking about heaven and/or hell here and this thread is not about that. So if you really want to discuss it, perhaps you can start a thread about it, and let me know...but at least you did say you think that a dead person goes back to the dust, ground, or whatever.
You brought up the afterlife. Why do you think that it is okay to attack others and then not support your claims?
It's best if you want to discuss this that you start a thread about it. Peacefully, if possible.

Have you? I doubt it. You have merely read the Bible. That is only one part of studying. Have you found the endless self contradictions? Have you noted the poor reasoning and bad morals?
