I don't believe this is for the "seeker" forum, since I'm aware of my beliefs. however, I'm thinking my beliefs are Luciferian, and id like some input from those wiser than me.
even if I am not Luciferian, I would Like to know Where my beliefs fall into. it doesn't have to be a clearcut name/religious label either.
however, I'm pretty sure my beliefs are Luciferian.

okay, now ill stop babbling and tell you what I believe:

I believe in a higher power. I prefer to call him Lucifer, as I read it is a name that holds much light in the Latin meaning. I believe that Lucifer is dichotomous, and that you get what you give. basically, he's a good higher power, but he will make sure you reap what you sow.

I have The Devils Notebook, haven't read much... but Anton Lavey is a genius in his own right. I deeply agree with thinking for yourself, and questioning everything, including yourself.

however, I'm theistic. I believe in a higher knowledge than mine.

So would that be theistic Luciferianism?

BTW, I do Not believe in Abrahamic B.S. .....or, what I personally see as B.s.
that's why I don't see myself as a Satanist. Because I see Satan as a challenger of "God", or any Abrahamic deity.

To me... "Lucifer" is a positive term.... and is supreme, it does NOT have to Challenge ANYTHING. He is the only one to me.

Sorry if I'm vague, I'm extremely tired,
Ill clarify more if needed.

Thank you for your time: )

Your beliefs can definitely be considered Luciferian. Bear in mind that exactly what Luciferianism entails will differ between each practitioner, but it looks like your beliefs fall quite neatly into theistic Luciferianism. :)

You have read the Devil's Notebook, have you read the Satanic Bible?

Anton LaVey distinguinshes great differences from the Abrahamic view of Satanism and the "modern" view of Satanism.

Satan literally means, Opposition or Adversary.

This philosophy can be taken anyway the partaker views it, personally I see inquisition and Satanism in every Aspect of Life, simply because Opposition is necessary for perception to be comprehensive.

Of course, many Luciferians I know also apply such philosophies to their own competence.

To me... "Lucifer" is a positive term.... and is supreme, it does NOT have to Challenge ANYTHING. He is the only one to me.

Lucifer originates from the Roman god of light.

It is believed that Lucifer is the bringer of knowledge, he who enlightens, which means to accomplish this quest one must take Opposition under their belt, simply by means of self preservation.

It can also be taken literally, as light or biophotons are believed to consist in our very own molecules!

Being an irreligious theist myself, I wouldn't consider viewing the supernatural side of such conspiracies, as they eventually lead to inconsistant lunacy.

Follow your mind and your will. If you are a deep thinker like me, labels would be irrelevant to your being, as there is simply nothing that can describe the Universe of your own mind.

Do not seek, create, and you will become what so many envy.

Any other things you could give us about what you believe of lucifer?

I think you should just drop dead Lavey right now and just throw away the book, i mean is nice and everything but most of the luciferian culture is found far away of the satanist community. At least there are several stories around the globe about what lucifer is, and the actual written words of him can be found on the Yezidies book from the peacock angel, anything that Lavey wrote was kinda nice, but is not worth it for an serious luciferian, just my opinion. He is more an atheist than an satanist, and is much much far away of what the concept of luciferianism is.

Makes me question the authenticity of a Luciferian who tries to speak for all Luciferians.

And no, Luciferians do not possess a culture, and are not "found far away from the Satanist community", thats like saying the left hand travels far away from itself.

Several you say?

Theres over a million stories about deities, so what good is your unconstructive critisicm actually doing?

I offered the Origin and historical background, or factual background of what Lucifer actually is. I also brought up scientific evaluation of the properties of "light" and how it compares to the Latin root "Lux-Fero" or "light-bearer".

I'm sure if she wanted to know about the lucid and fantastical depicitions of what He is then she would asked.

anything that Lavey wrote was kinda nice, but is not worth it for an serious luciferian, just my opinion.

Now you resort to the "No-true Scottsman" fallacy eh?

A serious Luciferian understands components and their counterparts, not what they think is "nice" and "worth it".

He is more an atheist than an satanist, and is much much far away of what the concept of luciferianism is.

Just realize those who point fingers always have three pointing back at them.

You are in no position to determine who and what is and isn't "Satanic", first because you are not Satanic, second because it is asinine to assume that you actually know anything outside of yourself.

Far away of itself? How so? There do are luciferians wich do not enjoy being called satanist or to live up to all the satan story deal. Some luciferians start being satanist but mostly they just change the mentality about what lucifer truly is. And believe me, search about it, im sure youre going to find enough info to see the efforts the luciferian community are doing to try to find a place by itself.

Woa woa there, i admit it, ya were right on that one, you gave me the actual story and defined him correctly, so im not gonna argue there, there do is tought much more info about him than he being the fallen angel, yet im sure the roman god is the more true one to the deity of lucifer.

I'm sure if she wanted to know about the lucid and fantastical depicitions of what He is then she would asked.

Well im an fully theistic luciferian after all, i might do believe whatever depiction of him, withow me being an hypocrite, is not like i havent readed about him and spended time on what lucifer is to dont be aware of it.

Well it was jusst my opinion , i have readed some of the Lavey works, but i personally wanted to barf over how cheesy they were some of them, and how he used to depict himself to the public. Is just me ok? I believe he is like that wiccan guy who started the wicca movement, just silly no matter how serious he was trying to act - shrrrugs -

And who ARE YOU to assume what i know and what i do not know? Are you me to begin with to do you know what the hell im thinking right now to blame me of not knowing things? I admit it , i never been an satanist, i started the path going directly to the source wich is lucifer and based myself around that ideal, i do not mind in any form the satanist culture, i do not need to be christian to be catholic , do i? then why the hell i need to be a satanist to be luciferian?

I still wonder why you insist on trying to speak for all Luciferians.

Luciferianism, Satanism, Setiansm, its all part of the Left Hand Path, hence the Left Hand Path DIR that we are in.

And I suggest speaking in English that isn't broken. Poor grammar reveals a lot about One.

And I never assumed "what you know and don't know", I merely said that it is asinine to assume that you know anything outside of yourself.

As a Luciferian I would expected you to understand what I meant by that.

And I never said you have to be a Christian to be a Catholic, or a Satanist to be a Luciferian.

And IMO, Catholics are Christians.

Of course there are
many many... "other" .... christians...
of the "true" variety
(unlike yourSelf aparantely)
who will tell you that Catholics are not Christians.
They are not true christians.
They will tell you that "this" christian
is not really a christian,
and "that" christian is not really a christian.
(you know, because they're not 'doing it right')

Anyhow, not to derail into christianity,
but the point hold true for everyone
of every path.

With all those "truths" out there,
all one can ever really do
is be True to Their Own Self.

To me the Form Lucifer is but another reflection of that ancient First Principle of Isolate Intelligence and Self-Awareness, Lucifer symbolizes enlightment and knowledge of Self (the Microcosmic Universe) and knowledge of the outer universe (the Macrocosmic Universe). Lucifer also represents pridefulness of Being in its Satanic sence.

Lucifer is a Collective Name for Spiritual Freedom, it is about Gnosis, particularly Luciferian Gnosis, Truth and Divine knowledge. A Luciferian symbolizes progress and intellectual inquiry.

Yet, Lucifer may be more than a metaphor for rebellion, enlightenment and advancement - as the pure creative and motive light, Lucifer may actually be the key to life itself . . .

The DNA within the nuclei of all cells of living creatures contains biophotons or ultra-weak proton emissions - in other words, light! A dynamic web of light constantly released and absorbed by the DNA connects cells, tissues and organs and serve as the organism's main communication network.

The Luciferic Archetype is on the move inside you and me, chattering between cell and cell, rousing the cohorts of the life-force, keeping us alive and wonderful. "Every man and woman is a star" as Crowley proclaimed - and we all have our own Inner Light.
