"And when your Lord brought forth from the children of Adam, from their backs, their descendants, and made them bear witness against their own souls: Am I not your Lord? They said: Yes! we bear witness. Lest you should say on the day of resurrection: Surely we were heedless of this" Quran 7:172
If this verse is talking about a Day in the Beginning that God made humanity's Souls, bear witness, that He is their Lord, so that on the Day of Resurrection they don't say we were not aware of "Day of Resurrection",
firstly, how come no body remembers such a thing now? is not your soul with you to remember the Event? And if disbelievers do not remember now, what benefit it has?
Secondly, if Now nobody remembers that event, how can they remember after they are resurrected? And more importantly:
If the Day of Resurrection, is literally the End of World, and on that Day, the only thing that is left, is Judgement of God to decide who goes to Hell or Heaven, then what difference does it make, if that Day people remember about the event of Day of Alast?
It would have been good, if people remember now, while they are in the world, so, they do good deeds, so that on the Resurrection Day, they can be admitted to Heaven. If they remember it on the Day of Resurrection, it will be too late. They will not have the chance to do good anymore. So, what is the point?
Here again, we see clearly, the idea of literal Resurrection Day, falls apart, and is proved to be a misinterpretation, a false idea.
Well, unless you have a valid explanation!
