Which RFers do you miss? Who were great posters who no longer frequent these forums? If you can link to previous posts or profiles that would be nice. But if not perhaps you can remember a name.

I miss zenzero posting here. Tetra although never conversed, was a sharp individual on whose opinions and comments were interesting. Too bad he only posted for a short period. He would have been a very interesting person to follow his postings.

Zenmonk Genryu was a controversial figure (understatement) to say at least and won't go into detail, but his intellectual understanding and ability to communicate well on Zen Buddhism was virtually unrivalled. I never conversed with him here but had a few times interacted many years ago under another pseudonym until the black cowboy hat manifested. Bad guy or not, he did immensely help out once upon a time long ago. Once in awhile it seems you ride the devil to get closer to heaven. A koan in itself. He belonged to a very well known teacher in Zen circles but was in a manner of speaking, "excommunicated" under his guidance following complications of his legacy. Had things were different i likely would have been one of his disciples had he received transmission but fell away shortly after him taking shukke tokudo and striking out on his own.

Smoke, Autodidact, Waitasec, The Voice of Reason, Storm, and Kathryn come to mind.

Logician and 3.14 always gave me a chuckle.

Hmmm...is Meow Mix still around? If not, I'll vote her. But I'm kinda thinking she's just not posting much lately.

Off the top of my head and in no particular order: Breathe/Odion, Meow Mix, Storm, Songbird, and croak.

Meow Mix and Odion/Breathe still post occasionally. I've also seen Kathryn around a little. Nowhere Man hit the nail on the head for me with zenzero. He had this...understanding...about him, he just exuded wisdom. Circle One is another one I miss. DreadFish doesn't make an appearance much anymore either. Engyo, Enlighten, Songbird, Lawrence, Satya, Storm, and Shuddhasattva are some other ones I miss.

And whatever happened to that Sunstone...:p

I also miss zenzero an awful lot and his way of calling everyone "friend". I saw Breathe (Odion) as somewhat a kindred spirit a lot of the time, as well. Lawrence goes without saying, he doesn't post on facebook anymore, either. There are so many, I am afraid of listing them all but, at the same time, I miss them as much as the others mentioned.
