Death of a close friend

Salaam all,

Recently a very kind and pious man passed away. He was diagnosed with brain cancer some time ago, but by the grace of God he lived much longer than predicted. He became very close to me and it's hard contemplating his passing on. I'd appreciate it if you could make dua for brother Asim.

Time changes the perspective, but the loss doesn't afford such luxury.
