Death,Why is it so Scary?

Here's what I see, and it's very clear. When I was a child, I thought as a child does. As soon as I found out about death, it scared me. I remember that period of time, I was about 6 years old. I never, ever thought of death as a real good thing. My childhood was good. I had a mother who cared about me, but did not discuss God or religion much with me. My father was hard working. He also didn't talk to me about God, what death is, but he did talk about loving LIFE. Now it was and still is very clear that death is not something really good. It was, and still is, an enemy.

It's good you see death as something to be avoided. That's as it should be. On the other hand, death is no more than a change.

Life is about Living. If everyone would concentrate on that, death will take care of itself.

That's what I see. It's very clear!!

Here's what I see. Moses knew that God created the heavens and the earth. I see clearly that Mars and the moon do not look so hospitable to life as we know it here. In fact, deserts look more hospitable than the topography of Mars and the moon.

The moon is just a Rock. On the other hand, mankind will Terraform Mars in time. If we could only see the after picture instead of just the before picture.

That's what I see. It's very clear!!

Yes, death is a big change. From life. Most people concentrate on living. Some concentrate on voices, or demons, or things that aren't so good, but then -- I wonder what you think is good and/or bad.

Here's what I see, and it's very clear. The Bible says that the earth was kind of looking like Mars or the moon. Now to "terraform Mars in time," as you say, do you think it may happen before mankind will be obliterated? Or obliterate itself? That's how I see it. That the earth was changed not by man but by God. Anyway, have a good day or night, whatever it is in your area.

Why do you say that death is something that should be avoided? And if it's "no more than a change," what kind of change do you think death is?

How about the sun? Do you think that is just a rock, too?

Poof creation lacks the details. The writers had none. They had only but Stories.

God created the universe to unfold to what we have today and beyond just like a seed grows into a giant tree. The real Genius part is that God created the universe to unfold in such a way that mankind would be able to figure it all out in time. All the secrets of God and the universe stare us all in the face.

That's what I see. It's very clear!!
I see that you think you're right about your views. Do you receive messages about these things, or do you make it up by yourself?

Why is death so scary to many? Are you afraid of dying? Why or why not?
We are born and we die the two things we have no say in. Most people I know are not scared of death itself, they fear very much how they will die. They want to die peacefully in their sleep at a very great age. Having seen death come to my family members through different causes. Death which includes infants and children, including murder, I have found some wanted to be dead than live with the anguish and pain of losing loved ones. You need to make love ones know how much you care and love them whilst here. Treat everyone well because no one knows when someone maybe taken. Death like birth is natural in the way we go forward in life. We can make life worth living by being kind and loving others, giving them a self worth here and now. What is scary about death is the not knowing what happens after deat6h to many. Fear, of death for most is leaving our loved ones behind. Why or why not...The unknown...

That's an interesting thought as I'm reading your post again. Would you say (or do you think others might say maybe) that those who believe they're in heaven or somewhere (who knows) before they're born have a say in the matter as far as being born? (Intewesting...) It seems apparent to me that we just -- are -- given growth (?) by a force we do not have control over as far as being conceived goes.

Try some science. In 21st Century, it is preposterous to overlook science.
Not quite sure what is meant by the ^ above ^ because science is Not the teacher of morality nor the condition of the dead.
What does medical science say about the condition of the dead _______________

I would like to take the liberty to address the ^ above ^ because God told Adam to ' avoid ' death by Not eating the forbidden fruit.
So, in order to live forever on Earth then ' avoid ' disobeying God.

My grandmother prayed for a peaceful death and she died peacefully in her sleep.
So, yes it can be scary about the unknown, and No one wants to leave behind loved ones.
To me this is where the teachings of Jesus gives us comfort and teaches us about the: ' known '.
Jesus' teaches what is ' known ' is that death is a sleep, a temporary sleep until Resurrection Day.
No pain in death just sleep according to Jesus at John 11:11-14.
Jesus taught ' sleep ' because the OT also teaches sleep in death -> Psalms 115:17; Isaiah 38:18; Ecclesiastes 9:5.
Because we can't wake up oneself or another from death's sleep is why we need someone who can wake us up.
According to Scripture, Jesus can and will resurrect the dead back to perfectly healthy life - Revelation 1:18; Acts of the Apostles 24:15.

I can see that 'death is no more than a change', a change from being alive to Not being alive.
So, we need someone who can bring us back to being alive again.
To me, this is where the Bible's promise of a future resurrection comes into the picture.- Acts 24:15
A real physically-healthy resurrection being restored back to see physical life again with the prospect of living forever on Earth.
The same original offer that was originally given to living mankind in the Garden of Eden.
For all people counted as righteous people (Matthew 25:37) they can gain the excellent health as described in Isaiah 35th chapter.

Yes. Now I would like to add something to that. Animals may like to avoid death, running from predators, for instance, but they were not given the mandate to avoid the distinct possibility of death. Adam and Eve were. Thank you for mentioning what you did, good point.

I used to think doctors had all the answers. (A long time ago...) There are doctors and medical personnel in my family. I do not refuse to see a doctor when I feel I need help. But I now know that doctors do not have all the answers. In fact, a doctor just told me when I asked specifically about a medical condition, that she did not know. That they do not know. I thought it was a fairly simple question, and yet there was no cogent answer I got from any doctor I visited about this. When I go to a doctor, I'm thinking their training usually involves the dispensing of drugs rather than curing a person of the illness, and they often do not let the patient know about side effects. (OK, just a comment from me...)
P.S. I haven't yet seen gorillas, for example, to construct clinics with trained gorillas, etc., to be like doctors, dispensing drugs to those that have ailments. Could be for a good sci-fi movie, though.

Yes, animals were never offered everlasting life, or I suppose we'd still see dinosaurs walking around.
Just think if bugs had everlasting life !!!

Somehow, I noticed as a teenager that the adults viewed doctors as M.D. (meaning: Medical Deity)
They seemed happy to do what ever doctor said without any question. I found it unnerving because an inquiring mind wants to know.
I recently complained to my new young doctor about a newly developed bad sore throat.
One day I forgot my new med and later in the afternoon I took it and just like that the bad sore throat returned.
I cut the new med in half and that fairly well stopped the sore throat.
The doctor then found that half the dose worked just fine.
Makes one wonder why she did Not start me on the lowest dose first.
So, we each know ourselves the best, and need to keep close watch even with advice from a professional.

Now I'm concerned, because my understanding is the drug companies can't be sued if there is a bad reaction to the C-19 vaccine.
If they can't be sued they could potentially give anything to make $$$$$ and get away with it.
Getting back to the subject of ' death and scary ' I think of all the damage the drug companies knowingly did for a decade with their HIV meds.

The Genius of God's system is that Each will decide for themselves what is good and what is bad. When one understands all sides, intelligence will pick the best choices. Don't you see, since intelligence will pick the best choices, there is no need to define good or bad.

That's what I see. It's very clear!!

Life is about Living. By avoiding death, one stays for the lessons.

There are many reasons for death. Mankind's goal is to have it made. So often adversity is needed to point the direction of learning. Adversity does breed invention.

People tend to take adversity personally. In time, learning becomes impossible. This is one reason for death. God will show everyone it has never ever been about punishment.

There are many many lessons to learn. There are many many experiences to live. The stage is set. The parameters change.

That's what I see. It's very clear!!
