With Universal Mail-In Voting (not Absentee Voting, which is good), 2020 will be the most INACCURATE & FRAUDULENT Election in history. It will be a great embarrassment to the USA. Delay the Election until people can properly, securely and safely vote???

I don't know...

1) it was a question
2) I don't think that will happen anyway
3) I noticed you didn't say "Democracy is in the crosshairs" when they delayed primaries... why? Is it because you have a little bias?

No, his suggestion is the end of the republic & democracy.
Btw, I oppose any delays.
Even if the election is fubar, I say let it proceed on schedule.

This is something I have been predicting for months.
You aren't alone.
Criminy....the tax filing schedule slipped 3 months!
But tax returns require much time & effort to complete.
(It took my CPA until early July just to prep my extension.
The return will take longer.)

Voting, however, is given little thought (but much emotion).
It can easily proceed on schedule.
I don't worry about the possibility of a little fraud here & there.
Either way, half the country will be livid, & the other half joyus.
(The third half doesn't care anyway.)

But even if the election is fubar, that will give fodder to the losing side to claim that it was all a set-up, a fix, and a fake election. It might end up having to be settled by the House of Representatives.

If not, then I guess it could really be the end of the republic. It could get ugly. The red states and blue states could line up against each other. Living in a red state myself, I might have to flee to California, lest I end up getting drafted into the Confederate Army.

I'd be once again a draft dodger.

Democracy is in the crosshairs.

He's consistently losing in the polls, including in the swing states he won in 16. He's panicking for any excuse to declare the election results invalid. The meltdown if he loses in November will be fascinating, if not terrifying.

It wasn’t just a question. It was a false statement, followed by a question. There is no evidence that postal voting introduces fraud.

But I suspect @Quintessence is on the mark: it may be more about a self-obsessed person’s inability to face defeat than a real plan to subvert the election process.

What? Me worry?
Trump is just afraid of losing and be a nobody again.
So he thinks he delay the election going to help him, because he thinks that when Covid-19 is gone, it was because of him:rolleyes:

You think Trump was a 'nobody' before he became President? Most of the world actually knew who he was before he ran. Even the Simpsons recognized his potential twenty years ago.

Well he got most of his wealth from his father, he gone bankrupt 6 times or so, so pretty average man in my view yes.

It's interesting that things are safe enough for children to go back to school but not safe enough to have an election.

The only cases of election fraud that I have heard of in the last several cycles have been on the republican side. Hmmmm.....
