This could be a really good chance for Democrats to flex some muscles.

Voter turnout is key - the Tea Party and GOP are showing up because they are mad. We can't stay home out of laziness.

Your vote matters.

You're expecting a third party victory? :D

Nah, I just suspect that more moderates will vote differently than last time.

Your going to vote your way. I'm going to vote mine. Nothing will change that.

Moderates decide elections. They where upset with Bush two years ago, and they are upset with Obama, Reid, and Pelosi now.

Voting is key. Looked how it got Obama in the White House. Make sure you remind your friends to vote.

Not half as much as the liberals are. Although my complaints about Obama tend to dwell on his betrayal of LGBTs, he has ****** me off on everything from healthcare to the Fourth Amendment to Guantanamo to the wars.

After it became clear that the Democrats' performance on LGBT issues was going to be even more dismal than I expected, I made a commitment not to vote for any candidate who doesn't credibly support full equality under the law for LGBTs.

That means, unfortunately, that I won't be voting for any Democrats in 2010. It's looking like my votes will be split between Green and Libertarian candidates. I haven't yet decided what to write in in races where there is no pro-equality candidate -- Dan Choi, Riot Dog, or Repeal DOMA.

I'll be happy to vote for Democratic candidates as soon as they can field candidates who are pro-equality. I'd be really happy if the unthinkable happened, and they fielded a pro-equality candidate who was also in favor of the Fourth Amendment.

Well, you said that "work ethic" would win out, so I thought you meant that politicians with good ethics would win; neither of the major parties has any significant numbers of such politicians.

Nothing else could explain the rise of the Tea Party and the parade of freaks and clowns they're putting forth as candidates.
We haven't done to well with the politicians in office the last decade.
Freaks & clowns could be a vast improvement over boobs (not the good kind of boobs) & cretins.
