It's interesting that your own link says "He'll" cure whereas the article in your own link says "We'll" cure cancer.

That doesn't say much for your source or your ability to read an article.

I believe VP Biden was one of the driving forces behind funding the Cancer Moonshot - it helped spawn a branch of medicine known as Precision Medicine where treatments are genetically tailored to the individual instead of using a one-size-fits-all approach.

As with any new technology - progress has been somewhat mixed as only certain genetic variants have been shown to be susceptible to these engineered treatments. But then again if you are one of the individuals who benefitted - you have a second chance

You're missing the point....he claimed that his being President
would effect a cure to cancer. It's an empty promise. If he's
merely duping the ignorant into hoping that he'll be the procuring
cause behind the cure of cancer, that's bad enuf. But if he believes
it, then using "cancer" in the singular bespeaks woeful ignorance.
This is quality derailment.

They were negligent in failing to promptly report this grave medical concern to the World Health Organization. Is the entire continent of Africa responsible for producing Ebola? Should they be treated differently because it started there?
This virus has killed thousands of Chinese people and turned China upside down. It's not like they benefited from it or something. They went into massive lockdown of all of Wuhan and most of the country in mid-January. And now it appears that has been an effective method in bringing down the number of deaths and transmissions of the disease - so far. Last month, the WHO praised China for its “unique and unprecedented public health response [that] reversed the escalating cases”. And now the rest of us are trying to do the same. Could their response have been faster? Sure, but so could everyone else's response, including the US. It seems human beings are reluctant to take extreme measures until it becomes absolutely necessary.

Trump has a penchant for stirring up xenophobia, so I'm not surprised that he calls it that. I suspect that is why others call it that as well.
