Facing this predominately monotheistic society, has anyone found it difficult in converting from this type of faith (or no faith) to a polytheistic belief system? Since most are taught usually from birth of this one god idea, would it not make sense to feel "weird" when attempting to start down a path that you feel is right for you, but does not follow this monotheistic view?

If any of you have experienced anything like this, please share how you desensitized yourself to the one god ideology.
