after we build a nuclear shuttle, we can zoom by the speed of light or faster to those solar systems that contain another earth. not everyone will be able to afford to go. those left behind will be relegated to building a plastic tunnel from america to africa, such that electic trains can carry passengers between them, as well as goods.

we had nuclear space probes that never went any faster than any other kind of space probe... why should a nuclear shuttle go any faster?
