So you may follow a religion or not,
but mostly you(this person) don't care that much.
So a person tells you,
Nature is the real God, peaceful hippies & Bohemians are her Monk.

What do you think?

It is Deus Sive Natura (sive = or)...otherwise, you are going to confuse me into realms too puzzling to even contemplate. lol

I'll have to read up on my Spinoza again though.

In essence, it's just worshiping the Divine in another way, through nature and Her forces rather than in a building (church/temple) or using idols or reading holy books...it is more a living approach with a God that people can interact with, rather than a conceptual idea they cannot.

I don't think all hippies and bohemians can be the 'leaders' of this...they were back in the '60's, but times have changed now.

There's a lot to be said for living this peaceful, carefree lifestyle though and many, many do just that.

I wouldn't mind doing it myself for a while....worship nature to see the forces behind nature at work...

Deus sive natural means "God or Nature."
A proclaimation that the two are interchangable.

This Guy replies to your reaction and says
"Its not a new thing, this is how its always been..."

People with tendancies similar to hippies and Bohemians tend to become the monks.
