The gem dropped by Greed is great! Although it took me forever to kill her (the fight lasted long enough to use the Archon ability three times), the amount of gold I've been raking in lately has been awesome. In just a couple bounty runs through Act 3 I made more than I have in all the time playing prior to that.

I'm now paragon 100! But I have lost enthusiasm for hardcore characters after some lag and a disconnect got my paladin killed. Fortunately though I had just under two hours of play time with him.

Character Update prior to Season 2 beginning at 6pm PST Friday, Feb.13

The softporn, errr, softcore crew is now collectively at Paragon 303

The hardcore crew is now collectively at Paragon 288.

Standout characters are the Crusader (who has over 1 million DPS) and the Witch Doctor (who has around 850,000 dps). Both comfortably trot around in Torment II, whereas the Crusader can remain standing in T3 bounties.

All that aside, the fun begins on Friday when everything goes back to square 1 for seasonal players... or is it seasoned players?

I'll be running a new Witch Doctor and a new Crusader in hardcore adventure mode, of course.

I remember well the heady feeling of hitting P100. It takes a lot of work. Slogging to P200 is pretty big investment and after 250... the game forces you into harder realms in search of more points.

Likewise, I have started a hardcore crew on D2... currently have a level 90 Freezer Pally, a frost/lightning sorc at 80 and the rest of the crew is between 61 and 72 (I can rush them comfortably through NM...) D1... wow, don't know if I could handle that now, lol. Then again, I played it for a very, very long time, so I am somewhat satiated.
