Only if you expect to die.
No.Do you expect to die?
I accept death, so tend to handle it better than most, but even so- there is no cure for the sense of loss when someone dies, except time. In the back of your mind, you know your life is now missing something. I haven't found a way to get past that pain. Not sure I'd want to.
Not to everyone. A friend of mine decided it was time to go after she was no longer able to do the work she loved with sick and dying children. I wrote this in response to the feelings I had being with her as she was leaving us.Life asked death, "why do people love me and hate you?" Death responded, "because you are a beautiful lie and I'm a painful Truth."
So typical see it all the time. Sure it was love at first sight but then reality set in and it was forever do you part. Neither party knew exactly what they were getting themselves into. Along came the kids responsibilities and finally the eventual separate bedrooms. She seems distracted and he seems overly determined.Life: "Psst, check this out."
Death: "Leave me alone!!"
Life: "Why are you so grouchy??"
Death: "I have to put up with you, now shut up!"
Life: [walks off crying, knowing that their relationship is falling apart]
Love the quote!Life asked death, "why do people love me and hate you?" Death responded, "because you are a beautiful lie and I'm a painful Truth."
Why not?
