Did God invent the iPod?

What if everything that exists and has existed, has already been? If God did indeed create the universe and has the ability to foresee the result of his creation, then is he not ultimately responsible for everything that comes afterwards?

It is not the same as a father taking responsibility for his son's accomplishments. It would be like a man creating and programming a robot and watching it complete the tasks that would inevitably be completed. Then everything that we see around us, every incredible accomplishment, was already accomplished in the mind of God, but chose to have it carried out through another vessel: man.

Keep in mind that this is the Theological Concepts thread. Just thought it was interesting to consider.

Yes. This is also why I hold an omnimax Creator to be incompatible with free will.

That would render any judgment against us invalid, no?
Yeppers. If everything we do is preordained, we are not responsible.

But here is where the theology gets interesting. God didn't actually CREATE the iPod. He may have conceived it previously, but it was man who invented it.

God, if infinite, could have technically invented an infinite variations on the iPod, but mankind only created one. Is that not, in and of itself, an expression of choice?

If God is omnimax, he both knew and determined which version would be invented. All our "choices" have already been made.

Free will is a dogma (Doctrine of men) It is not taught in any passage of scripture.

God causes EVERY CHOICE WE MAKE.Every thing we do is by DESIGN.God CREATED GOOD & EVIL

GOD (MADE) THE WICKED FOR THE DAY OF EVIL.He FORMED the crooked serpent on the 5th day.
The SERPENT does what he is COMMANDED to do. GOD LEADS INTO TEMPTATION/DELIEVERS FROM TEMPTATION.TEMPTS NO MAN.But commands the tempter.(satan)GOD IS RESPONSIBLE FOR EVERYTHING.

MAN MUST GIVE THIS ACCOUNT

CHRIST SAID (OF MYSELF I CAN DO NOTHING)

The FATHER DID THE WORKS! He SPOKE the FATHERS WORDS NOT HIS OWN!
GOD MADE THE TREE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD & EVIL. GOD CREATES GOOD & EVIL ISA 45:7

The evil we do is by DESIGN. CHRIST SAID (YOU BEING EVIL)

He did not say YOU BEING GOOD

THERE IS NONE GOOD NOT ONE!
Look at this passage?

Psa 107:25 For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.
Psa 107:26 They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.
Psa 107:27 They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits' end.
Psa 107:28 Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.
Psa 107:29 He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.

So this passage proves HE CAUSES THE STORM & HE THEN CALMS IT!

So who is responsible for the STORM?

Seems that we are a part of, and co-creators with, the Creator and are making out way back to being spiritually with God again. Highly possible. Without God we would not be able to create anything, not even an i pod.
