Did I Just Hear Hillary Say She Was Going To Raise Taxes On The Middle Class

Actually, I think you (along with the people who made the video) misheard her. It sounds to me like she said "we are going to write fairer rules for the middle class and we aren't going to raise taxes on the middle class" (Thus all the cheering..).
She said "we aren't going to raise taxes on the middle class". Do you need your hearing checked?
You JUST called out another poster for being dishonest and misleading and here you are doing it yourself. Sad!

I agree. I say she said "aren't". It's said pretty fast so I can see why some might not catch it.

Well let me put it this way I wasn't sure what she said but then I noticed the CC (closed caption) on the video and ran it just to make sure I heard her say "are" not "aren't"

Democrats have historically went for tax increases at every possible juncture, so I don't care what she says. 
Trump wants lower taxes on everyone and has said as much, as he feels they weaken the economy and lead to bloated government and pork-barrel spending. Why cherry pick the rich? He isn't just talking about rich people himself.
If Democrats had it their way they'd have sensors under your skin so they can make sure you are sleeping eight hours a day and eating 3x. It would be like being babysat forever.

She said aren't, but I wouldn't know it without reducing the video speed to 50% (you can do it with the little settings gear). Anyway, she's full of beans Democrats have historically always raised taxes on the middle class.

Come on. Even if she really was planning on raising taxes for the middle class, do you actually think she would include that detail in a speech, and that people would actually cheer? Think, son.
I tend to watch closed captions a lot. They are often incredibly flawed.

Hahahahaha. That is probably how she sounds after a few drinks too. At half speed her facial expressions look more appropriateAnyone can watch the video at half speed like I did and it's settled.
After listening to it a few times now.... I'm simply not sure. At half speed it does tend to sound like ARE. But honestly, if Hillary does it, it's never a faux pas.

Did and still sounds like "are". But why don't you Hillary supporters just say that she misspoke and be done with it instead of trying to say she didn't . It is a judgment call and I don't think it can be 100% she did say aren'tAnyone can watch the video at half speed like I did and it's settled.
