Does anyone know if Mao Zedong had any redeemable qualities?
I try to love monsters, because I used to be one, and it is a very miserable, unhappy place to be.
I hope everyone would eventually change, convert, be awakened, be purified, and get to some state of Heaven, but some people are so bad!
Mao definitely had the highest kill count of anyone, and it amazes me that the world, a big chunk of it, still hails him as a hero, and keeps him on their money currency and paintings of him every where, and veneration, even worship of the man.
He committed genocide against sparrows, and his great leap forward may have killed 55 million people, and it was from 1958 to 1962.
That isn't that long for that many people to die from atrocious policies and leadership!
Why would such a man be venerated by such a chunk of the world to this day?
Did he have any redeemable qualities? Do you have any quotes from him you like?
I honestly can't fathom what it was that drew so many people to love and serve him in the first place, or why so many still do adore the guy.
Some sociopaths at least sound intelligent, brilliant, or can fake like they care about people! Not this guy to my knowledge!
I pray God , someone, or something, will give us good leaders. The world seems to be lacking of them, they are extremely scarce, and we need them now more than ever.
It is heartbreaking that billions of people are living under people with no charity and compassion, without liberty to speak the truth, or in total poverty! For countless millions it is all of the above!
I feel extremely fortunate, lucky, blessed, in comparison to most people on earth. Which is rather pathetic, all things considered!
