Very Important Question for Both Christians and Muslims, as they are the two major religion in the world i.e. Islam and Christianity. The main difference between both these major religions circulates with the concept of Trinity.
lets start the discussion!

The Quran doesn't misunderstand the nature of the trinity because it is a theologically sophisticated text and far too knowledgeable of the 7thC ME religious environment to make such an elementary error.

It is not plausible that the author was both very knowledgeable and very ignorant at the same time.

The argument about excessive veneration of Saints (and Mary in particular) had been going on for centuries in the Christian Middle East, and this is in the same vein.

The Quran is a work of rhetoric, a persuasive text commenting on the state of Abrahamic belief in a 7th C Syriac/Arabic context. It frequently makes use of hyperbole to emphasise a point and this is just one example.

NO: The Holy Qur'an is the final word of Allah (SWT) (God), and so there are no mistakes or misunderstandings about anything; in The Holy Qur'an.
