Did you choose the right candidate?

For all US citizens, are you sure you voted for the right candidate? Test yourself here :D

Biden

Trump

(Just for fun :))

I voted for no one as usual, but I probably would've voted in this case for the first time ever possibly, because this seems scary. Nah, nevermind, I probably wouldn't have voted if it was going to be a hassle or put my name in anything or whatever, I'd leave it up to God to decide which plague upon the world comes upon America and the world next. I've always felt like putting my hand in and voting for one mass murderer or another would somehow put some of the blood on my hands and make me complicit in it, that is because I was still young and felt totally disenchanted with American politics since Bush Jr.

When no choice seems like a good choice, why should you pick something at all? Yet, in this case, Trump's handling of the Covid stuff seemed so bad, that it almost moved me to want to vote if I could, like if I imagined some lunacy like that happening in Canada, I'd really want to get the negligent or incompetent administrator out.

It was almost unimaginable that any leader of a country as sophisticated and powerful as the United States could ever have seemingly handled things in this way (based on what I've heard or seen on the news media, mainly comedy shows and clips), and compared to how the young Trudeau handled everything here, I was greatly impressed with the handling here, and it gave me faith that I never had in Governments, and a terrifying fear that the United States is truly highly unstable and can turn into a total chaos zone in just a few years with so much political unrest.

Meh... I hate to be cynical about things, but our real choices were kind of lacking this year, just like last election. This time it was a little bit easier, at least.

Yes, I am sure of that, as sure as I am that God exists! :D
Now we wait.

Last night I told my husband I am leaving the country if Trump wins. He thought I was kidding but I wasn't...
Denmark here I come!

My plan is for this to be my last election here. I might fall short, but I have my mind set on leaving.

I almost hope he wins now so you can start your new life in Denmark, America seems like a nuthouse now and I think its way too unstable and freaky now to stay in, seriously, there should be an exodus from there if a wacko like Trump can become the President and turn things to total insanity so easily in just a few years.

Where do you want to go?
Probably just travel around and eventually settle in Canada. I don't know for sure yet, but basically anywhere I don't have to worry about healthcare and who wasn't selfishly destructive with covid. So I have plenty of choices to choose from.

I could leave anytime I want to and live anywhere I want to given I could retire any time I want to and have more money than I will ever need, so my husband had better hope that Biden wins. ;)

I like Canada too because it is only about four hours away and they speak English. :)

I believe we could turn this ship around if Biden wins, but of course I am an overly optimistic Baha'i....

But Trump wins, I am going to start wondering how God could allow that to happen a second time. o_O
