Did you know making false weather reports is a crime? Apparently neither did Derpy Donny Dollhands

Kangaroo Feathers

Yea, it is written in the Book of Cyril...

Whoever knowingly issues or publishes any counterfeit weather forecast or warning of weather conditions falsely representing such forecast or warning to have been issued or published by the Weather Bureau, [URL='https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/2074?fbclid=IwAR3Oewmz8UUrI2pip293Hy-4VRzoijF40xgpFHyesVC8wLQ5mh6GnSH0d-Q']United States Signal Service, or other branch of the Government service, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ninety days, or both.

I guess we'll just add it to the list of crimes and breaches the trumpettes and assorted enablers will handwave or rationalise away.

Will Hurricane Dorian hit Alabama? Here's what we know and how you can track the storm

Any of these possible paths look like it might hit Alabama? Hint a majority do.

Weather is not so predictable that anyone can nail it down 100%. Hard to lie when nobody knew exactly which route it was going to take. ;)

Gotta love quotes taken out of context and lies told repeatedly. Really shows the cowardice and dishonesty of the liberal media!

So, none of the predicted paths go near Alabama, and you claim a majority of them do? Trumpettes sure have a problem with the concept of "majority" don't they?

Or do you just not know how maps work or where Alabama is? I'm not even American, yet I can pick it out on the map you posted. Hint: it's one of the states none of the predicted hurricane tracks go near.

9 of the 11 paths show it heading in the direction of Alabama.

I don't think you understand how big hurricanes are or how far-reaching their impact can be. Hurricanes can quite easily reach as far inland and as far north as Ohio. I would know, my high school was shut down for several days due to a loss of power at the school and many homes in the area had extensive roof damage and downed trees. Hurricanes are often the size of entire states. So take the plotted points along the lines in Enoch's post and draw a line several hundred miles north and south of that point. That is how big of a storm we're talking. Maybe you don't get them in Australia.

None of the predicted paths now show the hurricane going anywhere near Alabama. That was not the case several days ago.

I've also never heard of any such law, although I've never felt any urge to make a false weather report.

I can't imagine anyone who would, which makes me wonder why someone felt it necessary to even make such a law in the first place.

This sounds like it would go down in the category of Dumb Laws, Stupid Laws: We have weird laws, strange laws, and just plain crazy laws!

Such as in Alabama, bear wrestling matches are prohibited by law. Or in Arkansas, where it's strictly prohibited to mispronounce the name of that state. In Arizona, it's illegal to promote the use of or own more than 6 dildos.

7 out of 11. TABD and COTI wouldn't have reached into Alabama. Dorian may be big, but not that big.

The Gulf Stream has a tendency to deflect storms to the north east as that is the path it flows. So any storm that makes it into the middle of the gulf has a high chance of being carried northeast by the gulf stream. That's common knowledge for us near the gulf that live the weather here everyday. So it's understandable why not everyone would know that.

I'm going of the trumpette's own supplied graphic. Would you like me to chew his food for him too?
7 of the 11 paths plotted on that map show the hurricane headed towards Alabama, if you understand anything about the meteorology of the Gulf region. I don't know what you want from me.

Oh I'm sure the Socialist Democrats would make such a 'law'.

If they could Nanny state people out of every possible freedom and liberty, they will do it in a heartbeat.

I can picture them making it mandatory to carry an umbrella in bad weather under threats of fines and jail time. You know, "It's for the children".

Hey, isn't there a toilet you should be drinking out of somewhere? Or at least looking up the source of the law in question, before making ridiculous strawmanny claims?
