Everyone knows or should know this is a hoax. The truth is that a vote for ANY Republican is a vote for chaos, the destruction of the American way of life and the imposition of a system where the poor pay all the taxes and the wealthy get the benefits. Oh wait, that's happened already. Anyway, the upshot is that martial law will result in the arrest of every Republican member of Congress for treason with them being housed in Gitmo. The election in the fall will be limited to patriotic Americans, aka Democrats. Libertarian atheists will be allowed to vote but watched by the secret police for their capitalist tendencies.

Cabinet secretary Bo Waters has revealed, for the first time, Obama fears Trump's ascendancy and his influence over the country. Activating the little-used clause in the US Constitution that the president may declare martial law in times of trouble, Obama has decided that this is that time, and Trump's vote will not be permitted on the ballots. To quote "A vote for Trump is a vote for chaos." FEMA concentration camps are already being activated and FEMA managers called up to prepare to assist with public order.

And what provision of the Constitution says that? Exactly which clause?????

Martial Law isn't explicit in the Constitution, but it allows the suspension of habeas corpus (Article 1, section 9), and activation of militia in time of rebellion or invasion (Article 1, Section 8), and such.

Martial law on the national level may be declared by Congress or the president. Under Article I, Section 8, Clause 15, of the Constitution, Congress has the power "[t]o provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress insurrections and repel Invasions." Article II, Section 2, Clause 1, of the Constitution declares that "[t]he President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States." Neither constitutional provision includes a direct reference to martial law. However, the Supreme Court has interpreted both to allow the declaration of martial law by the president or Congress. On the state level, a governor may declare martial law within her or his own state. The power to do so usually is granted in the state constitution.

In other words it really is invisible?

That's really scary, and I think you're right about it being invisible.
Congress and the President can declare martial law. It's nothing new.

Ex parte Milligan[edit]
On September 15, 1863 President Lincoln imposed Congressionally authorized martial law.[29] The authorizing act allowed the President to suspend habeas corpus throughout the entire United States (which he had already done under his own authority on April 27, 1861). Lincoln imposed the suspension on "prisoners of war, spies, or aiders and abettors of the enemy," as well as on other classes of people, such as draft dodgers. The President's proclamation was challenged in Ex parte Milligan, 71 US 2 [1866]. The Supreme Court ruled that Lincoln's imposition of martial law (by way of suspension of habeas corpus) was unconstitutional in areas where the local courts were still in session.
