Everyone wants experience, it's what kind that matters. Ideally you have a governor in a state in a recovery, who hasn't done anything controversial, but who can claim the credit for the upswing.
I observe that everyone wants it when it suits their candidate.
But only some want it for all candidates.
That may be true for you. I'm not so sure with the rest of the nation. Benghazi, for some unknown reason, still seems to be a hot topic for many people.
My priorities & perspective are abnormal.
But you already know that.

I'm not talking about what I want. I'm talking about the ideal for a candidate in general. The die hards in either party couldn't care less what their guy or gal has. But I suspect the few in the middle, who decide most elections, do. I certainly hope they do.

Yep, I even agree with you. But my priorities lie elsewhere.

Sounds good to me!

Btw, I still harbor hope to convert you in the direction of my brand of abnormal.

I was told yesterday that I am the most liberal person in my company (not really all that large an accomplishment as our company builds equipment for coal power plants, Ryan is considered a moderately liberal choice around here.).

So I am already the odd man out.

Cabinet secretary Bo Waters has revealed, for the first time, Obama fears Trump's ascendancy and his influence over the country. Activating the little-used clause in the US Constitution that the president may declare martial law in times of trouble, Obama has decided that this is that time, and Trump's vote will not be permitted on the ballots.

I can find no record of a cabinet member named Bo Waters. I found a Beau Waters who is an ex-Aussie footballer and a Bowen Waters who owns a private company and is listed on Linkedin. Sources please, unless you're a troll, in which case you have my sincerest sympathy.

Various people have been certain President Obama was going to declare martial law in all sorts of fabulous circumstances. Remember Jade Helm, during which the government was going to take over Texas ... which is already part of the US and has been since the 1800's. It would be very out-of-character for this particular POTUS to declare martial law, thus setting himself up for more years of hardship and soul-crushing vitriol. He's a pretty gentle soul even under the most rabid attacks. There is, in fact, nothing in his word or deed that would incline me to expect that sort of behavior.

The only concentration camps I'm aware of in Arizona are the detention centers for undocumented immigrants and refugees. Perhaps if we're seeing new activity in that quarter, Mr. Trump is having them built against the day he expects to become president. He did promise to round up and deport all of the undocumented people in the US and escort the Muslims out as well or make them wear some form of ID. I believe there's a Biblical prophecy about that...

Don't be such a wet dog.

A wet dog? What sort of insult is that? Why a wet dog? Whatever can it mean? Did you combine dog in the manger and wet blanket? Might he rather be a blanket in the manger?

What are your sources for FEMA camps? Perhaps the same ones that have erroneously said there are "no go" zones in several major cities because Muslims? I'm trying to understand why you posted the nonsense above. I assume to stir the pot (or to follow your lead, stir the poodle). Did you get the reaction you were hoping for?

This has to be fake. Not even an Comrade Obama could do something so foolish--and he's done some pretty foolish things, like personally phoning Netanyahu and threatening to cut off all diplomatic ties with Israel if Israel didn't pull out of the Gaza Strip.

Where did you supposedly run across that? I was following this very closely two summers ago since my oldest granddaughter was in Israel at the time and she and her group had to be flown out on an emergency basis when one of the rockets from the GS landed about 1/2 mile from where they were staying.

BTW, another one of my grandkids is going to be there for a month this summer, so I'm hoping all goes well.

What are your sources for FEMA camps?
It's some nut-case conspiracy theory. I first of it about a decade ago here on RF, and I took an interest in it because I live just a few miles from one of these alleged camps. According to the conspiracy, Grissom Air Force Reserve Base has one of these camps, because the observation towers, high posts with barbed wires, and bright lights are visible from US 31. You can see all of this, but what is being seen is actually a prison (I've even known several people who have worked there). Construction in downtown Indianapolis was also "evidence" of these camps, however this construction was nothing more than the construction of the Lucas Oil Stadium.

People letting their imaginations run wild regarding Trump.
But the problem is that they don't look critically at Hillary.
It even seems that they don't want to look at her at all,
lest they admit she's a hawk...you know...invading Iraq.
See many on the left who excoriate her as a bought-and-paid-for front-person for the banksters. And yes, on the left many are too aware of her hawkishness besides. There are even some on the left who want Trump to ruin the country to "heighten the contradictions" (see Marx, Lenin and others if you don't know the political background of that phrase and its variants.)

And they support her despite these seldom mentioned difficulties.

I haven't run into these folk yet.

The ones I'm referring to don't support her at all. They're feeling the Bern

They're fun people to get to know but don't let them take over any countries near you. They're even worse than capitalists. Power lovers are problematical no matter what words come out of their mount. Their real goal is power.

If/when Bernie loses to her, how do you think they'll vote?

Everyone who isn't a capitalist is worse than capitalists.
It's a truism.

Given what any Republican would do to the country - increase the separation between the poor and the rich and drive more middle class folk into the poor category, balloon the deficits like the last Republicans did, appoint an extreme right winger to the Supreme Court, get us into more wars in the Middle-East, destroy the clean economy and so forth, I hope they vote for Clinton. Otherwise the entire country will wind up like Kansas (Brownback tried to go down the failed road again the the deficit exploded, needed services were cut on the basis that government is evil so who needs government and so forth).

Everyone who isn't a capitalist is worse than capitalists.
It's a truism.
Everyone knows capitalism is a transitional form. Haven't you seen future history (aka Star Trek) where only a few still cling to capitalism like the Ferengi?
