I think that one of the greatest joys in life is discovery. This includes discovery about ourselves, how everything works, the Universe, etc. I also think that we really know very little and it's a mistake to assume that we know enough. Therefore, we have to live with a certain amount of faith. Isn't there a danger in thinking you know it all? What do you think?

Its true, I think the human race is getting too egotistical. And has been for far too long. Instead of dwelling on our role as "most intelligent, top of the food chain, only beings with a soul (for some religions), etc..." We should be more humble, show more respect for what we don't have. Jump off of our high horses, and respect the horses. Stop ruining the environment and stop worrying about profit. Bring the world to peace.

Yes, there is great danger in thinking you know it all ...unless, like me, you do in fact know it all. :)

More seriously, it is impossible for any one person to know everything. The odd thing is that it is not easy to recognize our own ignorance.
