I wish I knew more about politics, it's got an exciting discussion to it: ideas of how to manage a civilization. But economics is really complicated for me to understand and it seems pointless to learn in the end, the only people that have any impactful say in the topic are the rich clowns in suits and ties laughing at the millions/billions slaves they have.

I would have to go with small "l" libertarian. Socially liberal, economic conservative. We need government (state and local,) to build infrastructure, enforce laws, etc. We also need federal government to keep States (both foreign and domestic) and other collectives (corporations) fair and honest and prevent them from running rough-shod over the rights of individuals.

Fess up, losers!

I would have voted for "socialist" but that would have been too obvious. If, instead of the dictionary definition, one used the Wikipedia definition, it might have had more meaning.

I don't believe in total state ownership, though I believe in socialism for the necessities, capitalism for the luxuries.

Socialism can be implemented peacefully and incrementally, and can ultimately lead to a win-win scenario if capitalists are willing to cooperate and be good sports about it. The only trouble happens when capitalists want to keep everything to themselves and fight tooth and nail against any kind of reform or social change. The Civil War was a perfect example of that, which was started by capitalists who were afraid of losing money.

The US labor movement is another testament to capitalist intransigence, although the rise of liberalism and progressivism ended up saving capitalism by favoring some reforms and improvements in the standard of living for working people. What most of us have experienced in post-WW2 America has been a liberalized, tamed version of consumerist capitalism which many people loved and were willing to fight to defend.

But now that the goodies are running out and the gravy train is sputtering to an unceremonious halt, staunch support for capitalism seems to be falling out.

Nothing wrong with being "obvious".
My choice certainly is.

I had to vote as I did because I'm a bit of this and a bit of that:

Socialist because I support "community as a whole" but not through centralized government. Definition: a theory or system of social organization that advocates the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, capital, land, etc., by the community as a whole, usually through a centralized government.

Liberal - social liberal. Use of government to counterbalance the power of big business (ideally but too often business buys government)

Libertarian - an unrealistic ideal that I hope becomes practical some day.

Theocrat - rule by the spiritually advanced not by scripture.

Conservative - because sane (non-MAGA) conservatives are right that things are best done (if possible) by giving people incentives rather than by government.

I've heard conspiracy theorists talk of the world being run by bankers, mega corporations, Freemasons, Illuminati, Jews, Americans, and Reptilians, but clowns is a new one for me... o_O

Thanks for thinking of me though
