Well mine mostly brought attention of the Indians here. So yes it does affect our thoughts to a certain extent.

Mine has been known to frighten. Why would a giant flying stone idol head do that I wonder? :p

I have to admit that a person's avatar does influence my initial impression of them.
I'm definitely curious to know if my avatar has influenced people's impression of me. I bet you all think I'm incredibly good looking, mysterious and magical. You would be right, of course :p

Well, I don't think it does. :)

Speaking of avatars, sometimes I think of changing my avatar, because people may judge Islamic Revolution and its leader; Sayyid Ali Khamenei mistakenly because of my endless mistakes. :( Yet, I don't change it because I want someone that I love, in my avatar. :) Do you think I should change it?

...,... No....... you should not change it. :)
I use pictures of our little dog in my avatar, albeit with additions ( :D ) ...... simply because she makes me laugh. If any members think that I'm a pushover 'cos she's so small........ then they meet the other me.... :D

She is interesting, but Google suggests your image is a 'Chinese goddess'. Its a good thing you have 'Bhagavad Gita' marked in your religion slot, because otherwise I would presume a different religion.

You will be assimilated; it is His Will.
Sometimes I find that out of the clear blue, a poster is angry with me...even when I'm on me best behavior. And then I look at me avatar, which is variously an angry Scottish janitor shaking his fist, brandishing a hoe or shovel, or with his arm down a terlit. Does this mislead some from me normally soft & fluffy personality?

What other avatars create a strong impression about the poster?
''terlit'' haha.
I think so. It is hard not to. But yours is funny I think, not aggressive. We show something of ourselves, do you not think?

And what of those who use a pic of themselves as their avie? :p As I am doing now and have done before at times and others do as well? Does that "say anything" about a person, or "it just is"?
