Do Miracles really prove the existent of a God?

A miracle can be defined as some kind of divine intervention in the normal course of events which involves breaking the established law of nature..and can in some respects be the basis of many peoples belief in any religion across the globe!

But then religions cancel each out....dont they?

Miracles have been claimed by all the major religions....There is in many cases evidence that these so called miracles have actually occured. Consequently, this would prove the existent of the different gods of each religion. But these different gods cannot all exist...it cant be true that there is only one christian God and all the many hindu ones for example...so in effect, they cancel each other out?

Or do they...your thoughts?

People worship in a religion that is familiar to them, who is to say that each person even though they call God a different name is not the same God. Same God different cultures. Miracles are available for all, God is no respector of persons, the key is belief and faith.....

The only miracle I'm aware of is the profoundly fascinating sight of girls on trampolines.

I don't see how a miracle is even possible. If something happens, no matter how unlikely, it is a material event. So how then can a miracle even exist? If the sun started spinning around the earth tomorrow for 1 hour and then resumed it's normal state, that would seem miraculous, but by the very fact that it happened, it would not be a miracle. Miracles are impossible IMO.

Miracles are not impossible, simply unlikely.
