Look up a good article on shark teeth, its really interesting.
Am I correct to assume that learning all
about sharks was a required course in
law school?
Just kidding
Thanks for the heads-up! I'll see if I
can find something on their teeth.

No, it was zoology 401, comparative vertebrate anstomy
They lack ribs and many of the other bones that we have, but they do have a skull and even more important a back bone, aka vertebrae.I just realized I have always thought of sharks as
invertebrates because they lack bones -- but what a
silly, silly assumption. I guess I must find cartilage
confusing.
Those details and others are why they are not fish. They lack ribs and many of the other bones that we have, but they do have a skull and even more important a back bone, aka vertebrae.

I got some threads around here about thatwords=sword
I read ot and nt both, all the way through, twice.
If you quote passages, i wont read them, judt mentioning
tovsave you wasting time.
Stumbling blovk..the bible .lots of them. The psycho god for one.
The nonsense like everything in genesis.
I figure a person can rationalize and excuse and invent his oen version
until they are comfy with it, or as i did, figure its moldy gsrbage and
ignore it.
The resson for / role of death is pretty interesting,
as topic in biology.
Thsts where the "why" is.
Btw, a person living 900 years would neet itanium carbide terth.
I got some threads around here about that
do your search buttons work better than mine?

“Wages of sin is death” in context isn’t about all mankind, it’s about the individual who persists in the rejection of Gods will. But I asked you your understanding of why all people must die?
What it is that You believe.
I might point out that if one took Chinese in school and read the language book on Chinese ‘twice’, does that make one proficient in Chinese?
It appears that English may be your ‘second language’? How many years have you studied English?
If anyone wants understanding of any subject, study is required. I don’t care what subject it is.
Have you considered that maybe the bible verses are not for you only? I put them at the end because I understand that people argue from their emotions. How they ‘feel’ about the issue at hand.
I state my case first and then present the evidence. Just like a court of law.
So.
Looking forward to hearing your understanding of why we all must die?

“For the wages of sin is death; ...! ”
Romans 6:23 KJV

Adam and Eve specifically lost their immortality status, they lost the use of the tree of life.
Translation or death is normal fir humans even if Eve and then Adam didn’t sin.
I make no claim of proficiency but I will make comments on my having read it..But I asked you your understanding of why all people must die?

Romans 6:23 KJV
I make no claim of proficiency but I will make comments on my having read it..
-I know it way better than lo and many a nominal Christian
-if you can read a paragraph in Chinese I will say yiu are proficient
-with 40,000 sects all reading your Bible differently, claims to True reading are laughable.
The Bible myth about why people die is
ridiculous.
I can tediously explain to you the ways and
wherefore of lifespan as understood in
biology. You won't be interested or learn it
though.
Tell me, are you a biblical literalist
or more like a free form interpreter.
I am a big fan of evidence; facts, data.
Its why I don't believe much of anything in ye Bible.
If you want to present evidence for one
part of the Bible by quoting another, that
has zero evidentiary value concerning the truth of any of it.
As a fan of facts, rather, I compare Bible claims
against data, and the Bible does not do well.
It's only worth reading to understand what
is going on with Christians and their rather weird and alien beliefs.
Here is a thought:
When most unsaved people think of death they tend to think of it in terms of ‘finality’.
That dying from this life somehow ‘ends’ their entire existence.
Are you comfortable in the bible?
I am not asking if you believe the bible. Just if you know it for yourself?
I think you stated that one doesn’t really have to read the bible to ‘know’ Jesus.
While I agree with that up to a point, let’s look at it like this:
You meet the ‘love’ of your life and get married.
Now that you ‘know’ the ‘love’ of your life, you leave the spouse at home, and you go out and play tennis all day every day for the rest of your life. Ignoring the spouse...
How well do you think your ‘love’ will put up with that? Your spouse may stick around out of commitment, but the joy may be lost...
Most people are not familiar with the bible. My goal is to show what God says. I try extremely hard not to talk ‘over’ people. People do not like that at all.
Please help me understand in what it is you are doing?
I am not entirely clear. It would seem from your missives that you may be familiar with the bible and possibly saved?
We may be on the same page?
Joy
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you,
which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
By which also ye are saved,
if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received,
how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV
Why do you think the belief that death is because of sin is ridiculous? That insinuates that the creation of humans depends on them eventually sinning.
The concept of an original, inherited sin is debatable.
Genesis leaves more questions then answers based on the ancient fragments used to create the story.
Uh, no. First, please look up the meaning of
" insinuate".
Also, the connection you make is entirely
In your head.
The existence of death has zero (0) to do with
any myth in your bible.
Scholars aren’t sure what David is referring to. He was lamenting his own adultery.I don't think its unbiblical, because King David said that he was brought forth in iniquity.

If your interest is in specifically why I accept that
for its explanatory value- here it is. If I read something, think
it over and understand it, and it consistently matches
anything I later think or learn, then I go with it.
Provisiionally. (A way of thinking possibly alien to you)

At some point mankind will begin to regulate population growth. If humans didn't sin and died because of normal aging, then the world would end eventually or God would change the laws of physics so there wouldn't be overpopulation.
