let's see, war on poverty, war on drugs, war on the homeless, war against the indigenous, etc......seems the US is pretty consistent in their endless war on the people who are all deemed as the unincarcerated [and terrorists] by the judiciary.....hmmm what to make of that?As for Italia and Deutschland, we are de facto US military colonies since 1945 so the US cannot declare war on themselves....
Ok...but speaking of the thread topic...any US President is ok to me...as long as he preserves the peace of the Mediterranean area.let's see, war on poverty, war on drugs, war on the homeless, war against the indigenous, etc......seems the US is pretty consistent in their endless war on the people who are all deemed as the unincarcerated [and terrorists] by the judiciary.....hmmm what to make of that?

No.In the hypothetical situation that seems more and more probable that Donald Trump loses the election and refuses to step down, do Germany, Italy and Japan have the moral obligation to restore democracy in the US? After all, that is what the US helped to do to us and pretended to do in other countries all over the world.

Ameristan. The question, though, is who the "we" in question would be.
That's why they'd be so easy to defeat.Remember that they're not our usual 3rd world foes with poor training and antiquated soviet hand-me-downs.
Those are minor problems (OK, maybe not for the French) but we need a working field bakery with a supply of different sorts of flour and, most important, a constant supply of drinkable beer. That's why they'd be so easy to defeat.
And we'd be on home territory.
I doubt they could survive without bidets & traffic circles everywhere.
Well, I'm pleased to see Mitch McConnell has tried to inject a modicum of sense into things, at least. I just hope they don't play silly buggers with interminable legal challenges to the result.Ameristan.
But this "we" wouldn't personally include me.
I'm a lover, not a fighter.
And I'm not even a lover.
I guess you could say I'm a conscientious objector of everything.

Uh oh....we have those. Those are minor problems (OK, maybe not for the French) but we need a working field bakery with a supply of different sorts of flour and, most important, a constant supply of drinkable beer.
Well, if things really get that bad in the U.S., then I'd imagine they'd have to withdraw most of our overseas forces to deal with problems closer to home.
I don't feel safer near aggressive powers led by simple minded people. I have cheered the reduction of US troops in Germany and I'd like them all gone.We are speaking of hypothethical situations...btw.
In reality ...with all the turmoils in the Middle East...we should have more US/NATO bases...not less.
One feels safer.
In fact Germany is in a privileged geographical position.I don't feel safer near aggressive powers led by simple minded people. I have cheered the reduction of US troops in Germany and I'd like them all gone.
Yep. But that has not always been the case. (Well the geographical position has always been favourable, but the geopolitical position has changed a lot.)In fact Germany is in a privileged geographical position.
Yes, indeed... when the Americans liberated us, they promised us they would always protect us and defend us.Yep. But that has not always been the case. (Well the geographical position has always been favourable, but the geopolitical position has changed a lot.)

And they did! They even funded fascist underground terrorist cells in case the communists ever took over.Yes, indeed... when the Americans liberated us, they promised us they would always protect us and defend us.
