Do we choose our faith or does faith choose us?

No matter what you believe, there have been things in your life that have led you to believe in them. So is the choice really ours to make?

Of course. These things are there, it is up to you whether you want to believe in them or not.

I believe in God, but my faith is not with Him :) Still respect the guy though.

Some choose and some just follow. An event cannot choose for you.

The older you get the more information has come your way. You have many chancesto learn during your life.
God reaches out to you in many ways. But you have to decide for youself.I suggest the sooner the better.

My religion was chosen for me on the day I was born, but recently I have questioned my faith. So, I have decided that with so many different religions and ideas of faith, it might be a good time to explore how other cultures perceive God and our existance on this planet. Whether I continue on the path chosen for me, or a different path altogether.....I will be the one to make that choice..

And that is how it should be; I wish you the ability to follow your heart, and find your path to wisdom.:)

You may find you go back where you started from. But with a few Heretical ideas added on. That was my way. God will love you anyway. I find you are always more comfortable at Home. CofE priests seem able to accept quite widely divergent ideas. I guess many Catholic priests are also moving in that direction.
