Do we crave witchcraft subconscious?

Not me.

But, wow, I have to thank OP for sharing Galatians 5:16-24. What an incredible passage! I found it incredibly meaningful and honest.

But I think it's missing the point to see this passage as a condemnation of witchcraft. The suggestion that we are compelled toward witchcraft, or anything to do with witchcraft whatsoever seems silly to me. I think the verse is about a battle between our primal urges and "what we know is right." That's an issue that is important to many of us, regardless of creed.

If you make the excerpt about witchcraft, it is a dumb and trivial verse. (Dumb as in silent.)

But if you see it as commentary on the human condition, you can squeeze the juice out of it, and genuinely take something away. We humans are pulled into two directions. We ought to be aware of that and determine something to do so that we might achieve the best outcome.

Do we crave witchcraft in our subconscious I ask this because Galatians 5:16-24.:)
How wide do you want to define "witchcraft"? We all like to have what we don't deserve, the lottery win, a special ability, fame, fortune, etc. It reminds us of "better times" when our parents provided us with all we needed without working for it.
The way we imagine to get our undeserved benefits varies but it all resembles magic, witchcraft, divine intervention, "luck", technology (at least the sufficiently advanced stuff).
So, yes, we all would like some magic in our life. Some of us are aware how childish that is - but it would be nice.

If wanting to ride a broom counts then it's a yes from me. I blame @Viker for refusing to give me a double.

As a Pagan, Witch, and Druid let's just say I have not once considered framing my practice in that fashion.

But if this is a round about way of asking do we all want a reasonable degree of control over our lives especially when faced with seemingly insurmountable and untouchable adversity? I mean... yes? Who likes being under someone else's boot?

Well, if somebody knows that they are interested in witchcraft it's not subconcious anymore. It's a totally different question whether the person feels guilty about that interest.

Crave? Nah. I appreciate witchcraft, though, especially the more 'earthy' varieties.
