Hello
Someone asking me 4 days ago to bring him as list of religions and their belief about the "spirit world".
Does they deny it? Does they believe in it? If so how do they define it?
If possible post your answers with refrences, sources or even sites.
You can post a full list or just stick with your religion it is up to you.

Thank you

The spirit world in Islam could be the unseen as mentioned in the Qur'an. In the unseen part of world, we are told, live beings who humans cannot see with the naked eye. Those 'unseen' beings are: angels and the jinn. Both angels and the jinn have been in contact with humans for various reasons. While angles follow humans throughout their lives, with minimal to no visible interaction whatsoever, the jinn have been more active about it (the jinn who are the followers of satan himself) as they manifest themselves in various visible forms breaking the barrier of the visible and unvisible (spirit) worlds and very often attacking humans (mentally and physically).

There is no such a thing as "spirit world." Man, as a living soul, is composed of body and breath of life. Once dead, the body goes back to the dust and the breath of life goes back to God Who gave it. It means, the breath of life joins the atmosphere or air in space. The soul does not exist in death. (Eccl. 12:7)
