If yes, what kind of life after death?
Physical body?.....Yes. If I die, I am looking forward to being resurrected back to mortal human life on earth, the way God designed us to be in the first place. He made humans mortal because he intended them to live forever here on earth in paradise conditions. Being mortal doesn't mean you HAVE to die...only that you CAN. Physical beings require physical things to keep living....air...food...water...
God had provided two special trees in the garden of Eden, (apart from all the fruit trees)....eating of one meant death, and the other meant continuing life. God did not intend for us to die, but to live forever to enjoy his creation, so having access to 'the tree of life' meant no aging, sickness or death. When humans disobeyed God's command, he ensured that the death penalty would be carried out by removing access to the only means that he supplied to keep them alive perpetually......"the tree of life". (Genesis 3:22-24) No human was to gain access to that tree again, until the restoration of all things. (Revelation 22:1-2)
Only Soul? Yes.....since I believe that the human soul is the person themselves......the soul is a living breathing creature. (Both man and animals) The word "soul" never means a disembodied spirit. There is no immortal soul in the Bible. The person (soul) is what is resurrected.
Reincarnation? No. We only get one life. We did not exist before birth and we will not exist after death....until the resurrection when God will restore life by means of his son. (John 5:28-29)
Others? Yes. Some specially chosen ones will attain to life in heaven to assist Jesus in his role as King and High Priest. These will be resurrected as spirits and join Jesus in heaven as fellow "kings and priests" in the heavenly Kingdom, restoring humankind to the perfection of mind body and spirit that was lost in Eden. These will be resurrected "first". (Revelation 20:6)
The prospect of everlasting life is actually programmed into the human psyche. Ask any human in reasonable health if they want to die....or to pick a date for their death...and it feels uncomfortable to even contemplate not being here anymore. Even when we grow old, our minds remain young. Age is a state of body...the mind is forced against its will to surrender to the limitations of an aging body. Dementia adds to the sadness and futility of it all.
If we take the Bible's account of creation in Genesis, we see that there is no mention of death except as a penalty for disobedience. Thus there was never a natural cause of death.....we are designed to live forever....right here with our family members.
How do you feel about the fact that you or your loved ones die some day? Feel sad? Indifference? Happy?
It is not natural to want to die or to lose those we love to death...especially an untimely death.
So grief is natural.....because death is unnatural. Having a reason for death and the hope of a restoration of life, makes death tolerable for the time being. It is a temporary state and we have Jesus' promise that the dead will live again.....it will be nice to see all the happy reunions in the new world to come.
That is how I see things....
