I'm sure there are a few good Popes, however I do not know much about them and do not have any faith in them. So I do know you a little from the forums, so why not you?

I found this and thought it interesting.

Urban Dictionary: Pope-A-Dope

But it got me to thinking, you are not ill are you? You are not planning to die on us are you? I hope not!
LOL, I tried to speed up the process and it only broke a bunch of bones, collapse my lung, gave me a concussion, and tore two meniscuses leaving me in a wheelchair for 10 weeks. I used to be a long distance runner going 12 miles non-stop, and I'll never be able to do that again.

I'll let God take me when he wants to. I look forward to it. Death is a part of life. I think it would be awesome to be a spirit without a body. Bodies are gross and they complain all the time and need so much hygiene and nutrition, it's just not my thang! But to each their own.

Pope Clement I is pretty great, he wrote an epistle to the Corinthians that was part of the New Testament for quite a while, and still is highly regarded. Pope Gregory the Great is... well, pretty great, too. He was an honorable Pope who spiked the idea of Papal supremacy harder than the US women's volleyball team, and he also gave the West the basic form of the Mass that we know and love today. And then there's Pope Stephen VI who was so hardcore he dug up the body of his predecessor and put him on trial for heresy.

Well, I hope you stick around a long while. It would get boring around here without your offbeat posts. I like reading them even if I do not respond to many. I think you have more time on your hands then I do.

Plus, quit trying to do it on your own. If God wants to keep you around, is all you are doing is messing up your body. And we would have to find a new pope.

Ditto!

Without there being a Vatican II, I could not have converted to Catholicism, and I do believe Pope Francis is trying to "open the windows" of the Church even wider yet, much to the chagrin of many a conservative bishop.

Very similar to stacking the Supreme Court. If the pope is conservative he elevates to cardinal those like minded. Francis has already elevated cardinals more moderate, here's hoping he has the opportunity to continue 'changing the court'.

God does not have a favorite pope, why should I? In God's sight, they all have no understanding of the truth and are enemies of Christ and the cross, by which alone God saves sinners.
